You Get What You Pay For I don't have a lot of money and wanted something that looked elegant and classy in my bedroom. I ordered this night stand and matching dresser.I haven't put the dresser together yet but put this together last night. It took about 1.5 hours to build. TAKE YOUR TIME. **This night stand is only as good as the person who builds it!!!**It definitely looks expensive but at very close investigation it's lamenated wood with cheesy drawers. The hardware is PLASTIC. I'm definitely going to Lowe's and finding some pimp hardware to replace it with.Pros-Looks expensive-Drawers pull all the way out, so this piece will be easy to moveCons-Plastic Hardware-Takes some time to buildOverall: You Get What You Pay for. 03/12/2010
Great Little Bedside table! I read the reviews-Good and Bad-and I love these tables! I bought two, one for each side of the bed, and I am completely satisfied. I got the black, and YES they are pressed wood, and YES they have plastic pulls and wood slides......but for the price ($59 each) I am more than thrilled with the appearance. For those who were disappointed with the materials, sizes or appearance---the listing tells it all in advance. READ BEFORE YOU BUY! I got what I was expecting! A light duty, inexpensive, nice-looking bedside table that looks like a much nicer piece than it really is.I agree with other reviews that you must be careful during assembly. NO POWER TOOLS! My husband has worked with MDF for years, and he took his time. These tables won't last forever, but for $59 bucks, who would expect them to? :) 02/06/2011
A good bargain I bought this chest for a printer stand. It works very well for what I needed; I definately wanted drawers for storage. The directions were easy to follow and complete; it was put together and in use within the hour. Everything was in good condition and packaged well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for appearance, was because of the plastic pulls; would have liked metal ones. I'm sure I will replace them. I think for the price, it was a bargain 01/30/2010
