Everyone's favorite teenage monster-chasers head to the Highlands in this made-for-cable animated adventure. Scooby-Doo (voice of Frank Welker) and the rest of the Mystery Machine gang -- Shaggy (voice of Casey Kasem), Fred (also voiced by Welker), Daphne (voice of Grey DeLisle), and Velma (voice of Mindy Cohn) -- are invited to Scotland by Daphne's cousin, Shannon (also voiced by DeLisle), who is presenting the first-ever Loch Ness Highland Games on the grounds of the family estate, located on the banks of the famous lake; however, the equally famous Loch Ness monster has been sighted near the castle, scaring away more than a few prospective athletes. Daphne and her pals offer to track down the truth about the monster, and they get some help from Fiona Pembroke (voice of Sheena Easton), a college professor who has been studying the monster, as well as Del (voice of Jeff Bennett), a local character with a passionate interest in "Nessie." They also have to contend with Sir Ian Locksley (also voiced by Bennett), a bitter skeptic who runs interference against their efforts. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi.
