Not only my children but I too like looking at a picture of the item to entice us to make it or even as a confirmation we did it right. No pictures in this book - mistake !Kids love Rachael Ray and they are happy to have her book. It does share her ideas, saftey rules and helpful hints.The book is also broken down into age appropriate recipies which is a nice idea. 01/05/2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mrskittyp80 Nice cookbook for kids When I purchased this book, I thought it provided meals for me to prepare for my picky eaters. I was going to return it but I thought it will be a great tool for me and my two daughters (ages 3 & 1) to cook together when they're a little bit older. My three year old looks at the pictures everyday and can't wait to start cooking with me. I might start earlier than I thought. Overall it's a nice book to have in the house for your kids. 09/27/2008
