Leann Rimes 'Spitfire' if the best country cd for 2013 and 2014 with country songs that tell a story as country music should be. She has a beautiful voice and is certainly an excellent song writer as proven by this cd.

Great Country CD

She sings from her heart.. I can not stop listening. There are fun songs in the album but there are also songs that will put tears on your eyes.. Definitely an amazing album.

I have been listening to this CD for a week now. There is a nice variety in the song choices.
LeAnn has actually co-written 8 of the songs and I feel that she has really grown as a writer.
I have all of her CD's since she was 13 and this is definitely included as one of my favorites!

Great songs and beautiful voice!

LeAnn is such a great artist that I would recommend her to anyone that loves country music. This cd is a must buy and THAT VOICE, THAT VOICE, THAT VOICE!!! That is reason enough.. this is quality music from one of the best country artist. LeAnn doesn't disappoint. This is an awesome CD from a girl with a big heart and the greatest of voices...

This CD was worth the wait.

I believe this is one of LeAnn Rimes best cds. Every song showcases that her voice is still amazing.

If you like cd's that you can put in the stereo or on your mp3/ipod from the first track to the last then this is a winner.

Great CD

A real solid effort from LeAnn! I wish more focus was on her music, and less on the tabloid stuff. She is the forgotten voice in country and that's shame, in my opinion she is way better than the Taylor Swift's and Carrie Underwood's of the genre!! Her voice is a force of nature!!

LeAnn shines!

Not her best work

The lyrics are middle schoolish at best, and extremely hard to understand. The same lines repeat themselves over and over with a ton of "yeah, yeah, yeah" and high pitched screaming. I listened to every song and tried hard to feel something but I personally just could not get into this album. I had hoped for something upbeat or an emotion provoking song, but it just was not there. Unfortunate, my high expectations for her beautiful voice were shattered. This was a "me, me, me" album and not one meant to please the listener. I highly suggest that you research for yourself and listen to the clips of music and decide for yourself because the hype is HIGHLY misleading in this case.
