Rated 5 out of 5 by ramonad great seat! we recently put in a new island and i wanted a stool to slide under the countertop. we are a family of 4 with 2 young teen boys. i was a little nervous about getting something without a back but i figured we wouldnt spend a lot of time eating at the island anyway. we put them together. they were fairly easy but do be careful as the heads of the screws do stip fairly easy, the metal is pretty soft. they do provide extra screws and the allen wrench but if you have some wrenches at home, i would grab one of those. these seats are so comfortable. they are the perfect height to either have your feet on the floor or on the rung by your feet. they arent hard on your butt either. i am a little overweight and dont have any problems with the sturdiness with myself or my sons who are hard on everything. glad i chose these, they were a great price and a great item! 05/10/2011
