Not what I expected but usable I was hoping these were plastic but they are made of styrofoam and the tombstones do not come with stakes so you have to improvise. The larger tombstone is thin on the bottom so you can't use a stake through the bottom like the other two. There is also nothing to attach the garland or rose to the headstone as shown in the picture. This comes with no instructions and although the larger headstone lights up and appears to have a motion sensor, it does not turn on or shut off automatically, it has to be done manually. This isn't the highest quality in products but usable for this year. I doubt after being exposed to inclement weather that it will last after this holiday. 10/10/2011
Good outdoor graveyard set Obviously for $9 one can expect this to be styrofoam and sure it is. The large tombstone has two red lights and each light has two led's that blink alternately to create a spooky effect.The items are all very light weight and can be blown by wind. But there is a workaround. For the skeleton and other tombstones, use a bamboo stake from Home depot. You can just get a bamboo stick from the garden center. Just ask an associate. Cut around 6" of the bamboo sticks and make a similar hole in your skull or the small tombstones carefully using the same stick. Remove from the item and then apply some elmers glue and then drive the stick back. You can either stick the item in the ground by holding the stick part and pushing it down so you do not have to wait for the glue to dry to lay it on the ground. Never push the skull from the top when trying to drive the stake to the ground , the stick would just come out from the top. For the large tombstone, get a brick and put it on the open back area. Get a grey colored patio stone so it would not stand out from the grey tombstone. You can either cover the back with some black garbage bag cut to the exact shape stuck with some tape. Leave a small slot on the back wide enough to help place or remove the brick. For $9 you have a mini graveyard set and you do not have to worry about it getting stolen as it is not expensive. 10/17/2011
Does the trick. You get a lot for a decent price and the quality is ok. The trouble I have with it is keeping everything in or on the ground. The little tombstones only have these little plastic sticks going into the ground and the big tombstone has nothing to hold it down. A light wind knocks everything over. Bought tent stakes to try and hold the big tombstone down, but that didn't work either. The spiders are a hard plastic so trying to get them untangled from the web is tricky, ended up breaking off a leg. If you can find a way to keep everything grounded then this is definitely a great value. 10/12/2011
Good Value I wish I bought it for the $9 price, but when I purchased it was like $15 - oh well! It still was a good deal for all the stuff you get. As mentioned by other reviewers, it had to be modified - my husband could better elaborate, but I know he put large "homemade" stakes on by either using PVC pipe (he has a lot of scraps being an electrician) or some scrap wood from other projects. It's well hidden, so passerby's on the street cannot see the modification and it looks good! Happy Halloween! 10/24/2011
