These remove makeup, but not thoroughly. If I use the towelettes first, I still either need to wash my face, or use another towelette or a cotton pad and toner to get my face clean. There is significant makeup showing on the cotton pad with toner if I use it after using my grapefruit towelette. Of course, nothing beats my Clarisonic for cleansing my face, but if you are just dead tired, the grapefruit towelettes remove most of the makeup.

Being a lover of non-soap products for my skin....I was reading online one day about this product. I was on a mission to find it...the article stated that it was not to be on the market until March! ALAS! I found out from shopping at Walmart that it was available! Grapefruit products are the best natural exfoliant for the skin...I managed to find this out many years ago when i bought purely by accident a glycerin soap made with grapefruit....My skin was like velvet! When i could no longer find the San Francisco Soap Company soaps on the market...I was lost....there were no other cosmetic firms that made anything like it....UNTIL now...I know Neutragena makes a shower gel which is good but I wanted something for my face...and these were it! BUY THEM...they smell awesome....the price is awesome and the delivery was super fast! LOVE WALMART!

A must for everyone's skin!

I have what would be considered dry combo skin, also on the sensitive side. My mom and I both bought these, she has normal to oily skin that's not at all sensitive. These wipes didn't exfoliate..they scratched my face up something awful! Then there was a tingling that turned into an intense burning sensation all over my face. I had to quickly wash my face with cool water to get the burning to stop, afterwards my face was left very red and irritated looking for a few hours. My mom didn't have any bad experiences with them, but she also didn't love them. Said they were no different than using a generic baby wipe on her face, no brightening whatsoever. If you have dry or sensitive skin you may want to stay away from these.
