Rated 5 out of 5 by anotherspaniel Album is amazing. Great music and lyrics! I have not been so pleasantly surprised by an album since I first picked up a Springsteen one in 1978! The mix of instruments is fascinating: guitars; banjo; cello; sax; horns! The music is great. The album has a variety of songs -- rock, acoustic, jazz, bluegrassy -- but it is a cohesive whole. The lyrics are intelligent and moving. The emotion and phrasing of the singing is very entertaining. I can't wait to see Phillip Phillips in concert.The Zine Pak is well worth it because the booklet is top quality with lyrics, and information about the singer and the music. And quite artistic photos.The Delux album is equally worth it because of the bonus tracks. He clearly had more quality material than they could get on one album. 11/25/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by celtgal I was so excited to get my hands on this 'zinepak, and it is better than I could have ever hoped for. The CD itself is a marvelous beginning for Phillip, who is obviously in better health these days. Although I loved him on Idol, his voice here is even better than anytime on the show, and he shows off that smoky, husky voice to the nth degree. The 'zine is far beyond my expectations as well and is a beautiful keepsake as a first stop in the fantastic journey on which this wonderfully talented young man is just beginning. His marketing people know their jobs beyond a doubt; this package is as professional as they come. It's truly gratifying to see someone with real talent and a real knack for making you feel his emotions being treated with the respect he is due. Cannot WAIT for the tour! 12/08/2012
