About this item
Includes: "Out In Fifty", "Beyond Redemption" and "A Gun, A Car, A Blonde" "Out In Fifty" - When you're trying to go straight, the street is the last place you want to be. After serving time for the murder of a cop's wife, reformed ex-con Ray Frye (Scott Leet) sets out to make a new life. But he's got psychotic Detective Jack Bracken (Mickey Rourke) on his trail. With only Gloria (Nina Osenbock) and Lilah (Christina Applegate) in his corner, Frye's about to cross the line-and finds himself caught between a deadly world and the one place he can never return. "Beyond Redemption" - A cop's faith is a killer's target in the ultimate tale of bloodlust and murder! Detective Henry Smith (Andrew McCarthy) is in charge of the hunt for a serial killer so twisted that he looks to a higher power for his evil masterwork - the systematic sacrifice of highly respected people. Equally obsessed as the serial killer he stalks, Smith defies the ultimate judgement: will he abandon the one thing he cares about in the hope of defeating his nemesis? "A Gun, A Car, A Blonde" - Richard Spraggins' (Jim Metzler) only diversion from his constant pain and wretched life is to escape into an imaginary 50s film noir world where he becomes tough talking private eye, Richard Stone, hired to save mysterious blonde bombshell Jade Norfleet (Andrea Thompson). In real life, Spraggins is surrounded by his "New Age" lifelong friend, Duncan (John Ritter), his leechy sister, Pep (Kay Lenz), her good-for-nothing boyfriend, Syd (Billy Bob Thornton), and his trusted nurse and housekeeper. When he retreats into the black and white world of Stone, his real world friends are transformed into a cast of dangerous characters whom he must defeat in order to rescue Jade Norfleet from a desperate killer. Only when Spraggins' two worlds merge, does he find an ending to the story that will set him free at last.
