I had to pre-order the book because the authors blog is hilarious! I was so excited when I finally received it in the mail. My kids are the same age as the children in the book, 5 and 2 and they're both boys so I can relate perfectly. I was laughing the whole time I was reading the book, even my husband started reading it and said it was good. This book will not disappoint you. It's the harsh reality of parenting with a funny twist to it, love it!

Great book

This book is so funny it brought me to tears. I have a 1 yr old and a 2 year old and I can relate to most of the stories. I only wish it was longer. I hope book #2 is in the making.
This is a quick & easy read if you want to make your stomach hurt from laughing so hard. Love it!

Hysterical book for any parent to read!

Just got the book in the mail 3 days earlier than expected and I LOVE IT! My husband loves it too! She writes the day-to-day occurences with her kids in such a real and hilarious way! Totally recommend it for any parent. I have 3 with another on the way!

This book is hilarious! It will have you in tears from laughing at the spot-on truth in parenting. I swear this author must have a hidden camera in my house! It is consoling to know that there are real people out there that are not afraid to tell the truth about parenting in this age. My goto gift for new parents

I found the blog about 6 months ago & laughed so hard I was crying. When I read a book was coming out I knew I HAD to have it! Was not disappointed one bit! Amber is so funny in all the different things most parents deal with or feel. Cried a couple more times reading the book. Highly recommended!

Hilarious, truthful mom's POV of things

This book takes everyday ups and downs of parenting and makes them so funny! I laughed so hard I cried ("I need the diaper!"). My husband was rolling too. And, I swear that the author lives in my house because so many of these things happen in my life. Truly funny. The book is an easy read (I read it in an evening) and is formatted like her blog. It would make a wonderful Mother's Day gift. Thanks to Amber Dusick for keeping me laughing!

Hilarious Book!

I have read all of Amber's blog entries, and it's amazing how many of her stories I could have written myself (not as well as she did, though). I got my book today, and I have already finished it (my two-year old and three-year old are napping). Loved the book. I hope she writes another one soon!

So funny...because it's true!

I have been reading the blog for some time and was pleased with how much new material there is, along with the best from the blog. Her storytelling is amazing and new parents finally know that it's not just them! I would buy a dozen of these to give as gifts, if it weren't for the occasional cussing, which is the only bummer with this book. Still a must buy!
