One of my favorites This book was given to me as a gift by an aunt (who collects childrens books) when my sons were in their teens. I was missing my sons terribly and a great deal of what I was missing was the years that had gone by. Some how the silly extreamnes of the story made feel better. I have bought the book twice now as gifts. A beautiful little story-my favorites line is "love you forever and like you for always..." 12/09/2009
Love this book when i was a kid my mom read this to me and i didnt understand til i had my son and now i cant get through the book without welling up with tears i love this book so much my son love it as well and i hope that some day he will get one and read it to his kids as i do with mine 01/15/2011
awesome book This is a great story! I cried at the end. Really showcases the love between mother and son. I plan to keep this book in or family for a long time. Hoping it'll be a new tradition. I highly recommend. 01/07/2011
