"Bluegrass Skyline" was shot during the "dog days of the 70s" when Disco was King. Fortunately, there were a few folks around who refused to latch on to the latest trends. Hundreds of musicians got together with their friends down at the lower end of Manhattan at the South Sea Seaport in the summer of 1975 for a Bluegrass and Old Time Country Music Festival. See Big Apple/Big City Yankees play basic country music, with a whole lot of heart and soul, in the shadow of The World Trade Center and Wall Street's skyscrapers.
