    Great Amp!

This amp ROCKS! I've had amps that cost 2-3 times more, that did'nt outperform it! I hooked it up to a 1300w Pioneer Sub and it hits HARD.

Drives two 10" Sony Sub's without issue.

I purchase this Amp to drive two of the Sony 10" subs which I had installed in a custom enclosure that fit the cab of my Ford F-150 Extended cab. I added a 1500 Farrod cap to help with driving the very low bass hits and the complete system works great. Not strong enough to drive one out of the cab, but you can surely feel it. The instrumental section of AC/DC's Jailbreak from their live album just plain sounds awesome. I get teased at times for choosing a complete Sony sound system, but once they climb aboard my truck and listen to the clarity of the system and feel the bass as it pumps out of the speakers, all I see is smiles and hear the wow's. Pick your components carefully and one cannot go wrong.

    • A. Absolutely!!! I have mine hooked up to 2 12" Sony Xplode subs. It hits hard, it makes my ears itch or tingle when it's on. Definitely good quality, just like I expect from Sony.

    • A. I built something close to this for my truck using a sub enclosure and it does hit pretty decent. Not as hard as those $600+ units that are common on the market but pretty decent. Be sure to include a capacitor near the AMP to help drive the power of the lows to the speakers. I installed a 1500 Farrod cap to my system and it sharpened the hits nicely.

    • A. Yes. However you have to hook them up unbridged or it will definitely overheat 4sure. Unbridged they won't pound as hard but will still hit good sound & definitely no worries on the OVERHEATIN! I had two of then on 2 1400 watt xplod 15's, both BRIDGED, & didn't overheat NOT one time!
