Love more than Moby and ring sling.

Where to begin, I usually do not write reviews but since I depend on them before making purchases I thought I should share. I had the Moby and Ergo for my 1st. Used Moby a lot with infancy but not much more after first few months. The long wrapping of fabric.....Ergo was uncomfortable and too many buckles and straps (everyone's different though, I'm only 5'1 so that might of been my issue with it). I've used the Moby A LOT for newborn days again this time (baby is now 3 months), don't even know where the Ergo is, had my sister make me the ring sling, never could get comfortable with it and tried nursing a few times with it but still just wasn't for us. It also seems harder on you back because it's one sided versus something like this or the Moby, weight is evenly distributed. Better for wearing baby longer:) Watched many videos on YouTube on best ways to use (same with Moby). Was looking for something I could easily/comfortably breastfeed and carry baby while keeping up with a toddler:) THIS IS IT, absolutely love it, read all the reviews and even the negative ones. What sold me on it was the reviewers saying you could easily breastfeed by just adjusting and lowering. It's also discreet with the hood. So, great for being out and about:)) My baby fell asleep right away too which is great, people who mentioned being too big for their baby, I used a rolled receiving blanket at the bottom (another reviewer suggested), worked well, or since baby is only 3 months, I keep his legs curled up like you would in Moby or anything when they're newborns. He prefers instead of sitting with knees up. He's 14lbs and there's room but it's also made for 8-35lbs. So you may just need to work with it with blankets or it's better to use fabric wraps that fit any size. I like that I won't be needing to purchase another carrier, we can use it as he grows, and the price is unbelievable compared to others. I will be using for our trip out of state in a few days, I know I can comfortably nurse him no matter where we are. Will also use for days at the zoo or library. Hope this was helpful to other mommies. I may be able to get some housework done now:)) Added pic so you can see with baby's legs curled up inside instead of sitting with knees up.

This is sooo great! I owned the Moby and couldn't stand wrapping ALL the fabric around me and tucking and pulling ...ANNOYING! This Sash Mei Tai carrier is perfect! I am heavy set and still works great! I swear I could wear it all day and not feel my daughter! My daughter is 6 months and 20lbs, she likes it too! Highly recommended!

I researched tons of baby carriers and never felt justified paying as much as most brands cost. I had a sling that wasn't adjustable and it didn't work for two reasons: I'm large chested and LO is a pretty big baby (13.5 lbs @ 2 months). So then I stumbled upon this carrier, and after reading reviews, I ordered it knowing that I could easily return it to Walmart if we didn't like it. Well, my 2 month old loves it! It's very comfortable for both of us and he usually falls asleep immediately, which is wonderful for me since he never wants to be put down. It's very easy to put on. I watched the YouTube video and practiced once before putting the baby in it. If you'd like to try a carrier, but don't want to spend a lot, you should definitely get this one!

    • The first couple of times it took me a few minutes to get the carrier on and tied, but after I got the hang of it no problem.

    • There is some difficulty when you're new to it but once putting it on a few times it becomes significant easier.

    • I don't find this hard to tie, but you do have to reach around a bit. But it can be done. I'm 5'8", 130 lbs... don't know if that makes a difference.

    • Not that hard at all, a little easier if you have a second person to put the baby in for you after you're tied in.

    • My baby falls asleep every time, so it's definitely comfortable to sleep in. I could see it making your back tired eventually, but your back will eventually get tired carrying a baby no matter what carrier you're using. I've only carried LO for a little over an hour at a time, but my back wasn't tired yet.

    • Most new (expensive) carriers mimic the on the mei tai, thus they all offer a comfortable setting position for babies and toddlers. The question is, would this carrier be comfortable for you? I think Yes, but it depends on your size and hight, and the weight of the baby of course. All carriers will give you a back ache if you wear them for a VERY only time. I've tried other expensive carriers, and my back started hurting in 10 min. With this carrier I was able to carry my baby for much longer times with no or very little discomfort.
