Though this particular Beny More collection focuses on his more romantic songs, and therefore lacks some of the up-tempo mambo that the singer was known for, there are still plenty of both well-known and fantastic boleros and other love songs on the Norte-released Canciones de Amor. Arguably his biggest hit, "Como Fue?" is included, along with "Oh Vida!," "Y Hoy Como Ayer," and "Encantado de la Vida," not to mention two More-penned tracks, "Dolor y Perdon" and "Mi Amor Fugaz." The singer's voice sounds great here, as per usual, smooth and inflected, so that even if Spanish is not understood, the sentiments are. ~ Marisa Brown, Rovi
