Who's the cutest cat in the country? Nermal. And who's the clingiest, most annoying and most pretentious cat in the country? Also Nermal. Garfield's running out of ideas to get rid of him. Although maybe the beauty contest might work...the first prize is a six month long stay in Greenland. Not bad, huh? If Nermal wins, ciao! But there's a snag.

Red alert! A huge asteroid is heading right for the Planet Earth! How can it be destroyed? With the space ship Jon designed a few years back? The only problem is it's only big enough for a dog and a cat to pilot it. No problem, Garfield and Odie decide to take on the mission, which turns out to be very dangerous, but extremely satisfying. They discover the asteroid is a giant meat ball sent into space by aliens who are made of pasta! Why? Tribe. You have to see it to believe it.

Bad news, Garfield! I'm putting you on a diet, starting now! There's no point protesting, you're ten pounds overweight, so for your own good, there will be nothing but vegetables on the menu from now on. Jon has got it all figured out! There is even a camera to watch you. Yep, fixed right onto your collar. So you can always try to cheat, but you can't win. Oh, despair! Oh, calamity and suffering! This means hours with no lasagna! Days without beef dumplings and crispy noodles!

Jon has no inspiration for his next comic strip and the darn telephone just won't stop ringing. He just can't concentrate. Of course, it's his editor on the phone. He suggests Jon goes to stay at his country house. Then he'll get plenty of quiet to work in, and there's no telephone. Off he goes! Odie, Garfield and Jon drive away, heading for an oasis of peace and quiet...and total silence! Sounds great, except they should have read the script before they left.

Imagine that in the close future, the postal service invents a new mail delivery system. And that the new computerized and holographic system gets tested out at Jon's. After all, Garfield is a real menace to the mail man. But imagine the system has a few teething problems, and Jon's papers get delivered a day early. That would mean he would have all the winning numbers for the lottery before the results were called.

In the dark recesses of space, Harlin, the owner of Neptunian Nuclear Chicken, a chain of outer space fast food restaurants, hasn't got enough chickens to open more restaurants. Unfortunately for us, he has a backup plan: to use a special ray to turn every man, woman, child and animal on Earth into a chicken ready to be fried and served up in a bucket! Unfortunately for him, Garfield's big appetite and love for lasagna renders him immune to the ray, and soon it is up to him to save us all.

But he's gonna have to follow his owner, and what's more, he's gonna have to WORK! Yes, that's right! Our friend Garfield's gonna have to make hay, chop wood, feed the pigs, the chickens and the horse, give the cows water to drink, work the fields and even plant the corn! You think that's impossible?

All pets have been banned from Vito's Pizzeria, thanks to Garfield and his insatiable appetite. But that doesn't mean Garfield will stop trying! Jon and Liz have a romantic dinner planned at Vito's, and Garfield (along with Odie) is determined to tag along and sample all of Vito's delicious food, even if it means pulling out all the stops and all the disguises possible.

Garfield decides to make a show about the history of cats throughout time, going as far back to the prehistoric ages and spanning all over the world. The show tells not only of how the cat has progressed over thousands of years, but also of how they have contributed or been directly responsible for some of the biggest inventions of the world, such as cheese, or even the Mona Lisa! But his "facts" don't ring true to Squeak and his mice friends who see things a bit differently.
