Amazing acoustic EP This Quiet Night Acoustic EP by David Cook is just amazing. I have had this since June, when it was offered as part of he fan pack on his web site David's voice is so beautiful and spotless when he sings. And the songs are just perfect. Everyone will just amaze you more and more. If you are looking for the perfect record to buy I would say this is the one to own. And yes I am buying another copy. I would also recommend picking up a copy of This Loud Morning from which this songs come.Happy Listening 01/29/2012
A different side of Cook This Quiet Night features an alternative take on some of the material from Cook's This Loud Morning. The acoustic EP's sparser arrangements showcase the artist's vocal talents while still providing plenty of drive for these heartfelt songs of love and loss. Cook has one of the best voices in the rock business, and it's a pleasure to have these creative variations. Standout tracks: Goodbye to the Girl, Paper Heart. Highly recommended. 01/31/2012
A Showcase for David's Incomparable Voice If you're in it for "the voice," then this EP is everything a David Cook album should be. No session musicians, no overlayed tracks. Just David and his band members with acoustic guitars, keyboards and a limited amount of percussion. Every song is a winner, but my favorite track is "Goodbye to the Girl," written by David and his band members (& longtime friends) Andy Skib and Neal Tiemann. The version on the main album, "This Loud Morning," is not heavily produced, but this track is stripped down completely. It's haunting. I also recommend David's 14-track deluxe version "This Loud Morning." The EP and album are great companions. I'm so happy that This Quiet Night is now available beyond the original fan packs offered at Cook's online store. It's a fantastic $5 investment that will soothe your soul for years. 01/31/2012
Amazing album for ALL to enjoy!!!!!! :) David Cook's "This Quiet Night" Acoustic EP is *EXCELLENT* -- the music is beautiful, and being acoustic it REALLY allows the listener to hear Mr. Cook's STUNNING voice... "This Loud Morning" is also an AMAZING album-- a *MUST-HAVE* along with "This Quiet Night"!!!!! David Cook is so tremendously talented-- amazing singer, songwriter, musician, performer.. and David Cook the human being-- does SO much for charities and for *people*.. he possesses a heart of gold and is an absolutely wonderful human being...GO DAVID COOK, WE LOVE YOU!!!!! :) :) :) 01/31/2012
