    Best little crock around

I ordered 2 of these little jewels not knowing if my skeptical husband would like it or not. Let him use mine first just in case. It is everything it claims to be. The only thing we found was do not plug it in when you get to work. It only takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours for anything to heat up, from a can of soup to any leftovers you may have. We both love this little crockpot and many are asking where I got it. Sure beats waiting in like for a microwave! Would recommend to anyone.

I recently got one of these from a coworker for my birthday, and it's one of the best gifts I ever got! No more waiting for a microwave during lunch at work - now I can have a hot meal without the hassle. Love it! Several others are buying them as well now - we're becoming known as the "bucket brigade". : )

I think this is a great item to have on hand. It is a great way to warm up your soups and stews. You can even use if for hot apple cider or perhaps keeping your oatmeal warm. Another great idea is to use it to warm up a little bit of water, cinnamon sticks and orange peels for a nice room freshner. Makes for a wonder gift for the office or for friends and family. I'm looking forward to seeing what other food items i could warm up using this crock pot.

I bought this lunch size crock pot because at my office there is only one microwave that we all have to share and it's very difficult to get it when I am ready to eat without standing in line or eating late in the afternoon. I plugged it in at 7:00am when I arrived, and when I was ready to eat at 11:30am, my thick soup was nice and hot! How convenient to be at my desk and not have to leave to use the microwave! I do not know how long it took to heat my soup because I did not check it until I was ready to eat. All I know is that the soup was thoroughly heated through and it was nice and hot - unlike when it comes out of the microwave without stirring and re-nuking over and over. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a nice hot lunch at their desk. Comes with a nice length of cord that easily wraps around the base of the unit twice in a grooved area and the plug secures in it's own built-in holder very nicely under the bottom, letting the unit sit flat when not in use. Great design and even has a Power Indicator Light. Quick and easy cleanup too! Love, love, love it!

I got this little gem and it comes in different colors. I take it and fill it with whatever (meatballs & spaghetti, stew, already baked potato, soup, etc.) I want for lunch, plug it in as soon as I get to work and it is ready whenever I get a chance to eat. It does not cook it is just a warmer and the lid does screw on. I just happened upon it, I never saw one before and I just love, love, love it. Everyone thinks it is the cutiest little thing they have ever seen. The lid and the metal (removeable) inside is dishwasher safe.

    • A. It is removable metal. Gets relatively hot, but you do not need to remove it from the crockpot to eat your meal. I think each person has to use their own judgement in touching. I have taken it out right away using a napkin and not been burned. I like the fact that the insert and lid is dishwasher safe even though I find it so easy to clean anyway.
