About this item
In 1966, The Ohio State University Buckeyes suffered only their second losing season under Coach Woody Hayes. In 1967, with a record of 2-3, many fans were calling for Woody's head, and it appeared the Buckeyes needed to win the last four games of the season or the 1968 Buckeyes would be playing for different coaches. What the fans didn't know was that OSU had a "secret weapon." One that was already making its presence felt by practicing full-tilt against the varsity, making them a better team in 1967, and preparing to turn the Big Ten on its ear in 1968. This group, John Brockington, Leo Hayden, Bruce Jankowski, Rex Kern, Ron Maciejowski, Jim Otis, Mike Seisbaugh, Jim Stillwagon, Jack Tatum, Jan White, Larry Zelina, and all of their classmates, changed the landscape of Ohio State football forever. Join the 3-time letterman Larry Zelina, Coach Earl Bruce, and your host Mark "Munch" Bishop, as they relive 1968...the year of the "Super Sophomores." Experience again the thrills and excitement as the Ohio State Buckeyes march to the National Championship.
