    • A. I could not find any other sizes... I am XL as well and the handle bars do not rise and it causes my body to press down on my wrists while I ride because my seat is high while the bars are low... causes my hands to fall asleep while riding.

    • A. No, but I'm 6'0 and 250lbs. This is a great bike. The bike stores would easly sell this bike for at least $600.

The 29" Iron Horse Mountain Bike I purchased from Walmart.com is a terrific value considering that I saw mountain bikes with similar specifications for upwards of $6000 elsewhere. THE PROS: Dual disk brakes and suspension. It looks, rides and operates very well, I get compliments on it regularly. It was fun to assemble, which went fairly easy. DUDE!!! 97 CENT SHIPPING... you read that right; and it arrived in like 2 days. THE CONS: Not one piece of the packaged documentation had anything at all to do with this bike. Some of it was generic enough to apply to almost any bike.... a pleasant surprise here tho, was my call to the 800 number for Pacific Cycle for clairification on the documentation... they answered on the second ring; no elevator music; a live tech on the line right now. Rhonda was very helpful with emailed docs and mailed parts to me. The worst part about the bike was a grinding noise and gritty operation of the crank. I dissasembled the crank assembly and found aluminum shavings in the bearings and grease. After rinsing in solvent and re-packing bearings with boat trailer wheel bearing grease - which should fair bettrer in the wet Oregon weather than regular grease - the crank works smooth as glass. Rhonda took down the information about the crank and assured me that the manufacturer will be correcting this in current production. At $329.97 even with these minor inconvienences this bike is a terrific value, you will not find a better deal... I really shopped.

I am very surprised at how much you get for the price. It's a nice large bike for a larger person. 20" frame, all aluminum, double wall 29" aluminum wheels. The bike weighs in at 38 lbs ready to ride. It feels lighter when riding it. The handlebars are height adjustable if you're real tall. The first thing that got my attention is the color. It's a cool looking purplish blue matte color. It looks really great. I'm 6' tall and weigh 225 lbs and it handles me well. I only have the seat up a few inches, and the handlebars all the way down, so there's plenty of adjustment for a taller rider. The bike arrived in perfect shape. A box inside another box. Not a blemish on the inner box. You just have to put on the pedals, handlebar, front wheel, and seat. If you've never used ratchet trigger shifters before, then you're in for a treat. They are awesome and just about fool proof. Very smooth acting, just click a lever and it's in the next gear, up or down. The dual disc brakes work great. Both front and rear suspension are adjustable. There's more to adjusting the fronts, but you can check it out on Youtube to see if you want to tackle that. The only con right now is the seat isn't the most comfortable......yet. I'm gonna see if my butt can get used to it. But I also have it set up to workout with when I'm not out riding it. For this price I don't think you'll find another 29er that's better or with all these options. I've been searching and comparing for months.

I bought this bike for riding when I go camping. It is a great bike for the money when you consider it has disc brakes, quick release wheels, and shocks. However, I wish Iron horse had separate owner's manuals for each individual bike instead of trying to write one owners manual for all bikes. It was confusing which page went with this bike. However, a quick call to their customer service and the gal was very helpful. The only downside to the bike is I'm 6'4" and the bike is really too small if I was going to ride a long distance. My leg only extends about 3/4 of the way down when I'm pedaling. Yes I put the seat up higher. If you are over 6' I would suggest going to a bike shop and buying a bigger bike. Also my shoes are size 12 and with the 29" wheels when I turn the wheel it hits my shoes!

I was on vacation in Lake Tahoe, CA and wanted to ride a bike. Instead of renting one, I drove to the Carson City, NV, Walmart store to buy a cheap bike. Instead, I found this returned Iron Horese 29" Sinister 6.2 in the rack for a cheaper than listed price. I inspected it and found nothing wrong with it. I bought it and rode the heck out of it. It is a great bike. Great shifters, great brakes, great ride. This bike gets allot of attention when I am riding it and when it is parked. However, I had to buy a bigger seat as I had to do with my other Mongoose bike I left home (it was on the back of my travel trailer so it was too much trouble to take it off and get it through the RV building) because I don't have enough buiit-in padding on my bottom to make it comfortable to ride long distances. The much bigger seat did it. Great set-up. The shifter is allot nicer as the brakes are than my Mongoose (not the cheap one either). I am glad someone returned it for my benefit.

Great looking Iron Horse 29" Sinister 6.2 Mountain bike. The front fork shutters a little when applying the front break, maybe thats normal. The setup from box to road was very clean and easy. Very few adjustments made to get clean shifting, good, not great, derailers. I live in the rain forest, so Ill replace them in a year anyway. The difference with a 29" as compared to a 26" is phenomenal. I ride trails that have been maintained, in the National Park, so I can't comment on off road capabilities. It is a beautiful bike and has all the look of a Pro. Walmart delivered this bike to my door in Volcaco Hawaii for free. If you buy this bike at a store, take it to a bike shop for a complete once over, unless you can do the setup yourself. Many of the complaints I read, were obviously from a bad setup, this bike should ride great for years with a little T.L.C. ;D ...Go to UTUBE for all bike maintainence tips, its better that you know how, with a bike that has disc breaks, derailers, upgraded shifters and full suspension. Theres simpily too much that can get out of "Whack".
