We were surprised by how much we loved this bed! It fit into our budget and we loved the look of it online, but my husband was skeptical of what the wood would look like when we opened it up. He was surprised at the quality and look of it! The support and sturdiness of the bed is also surprising. Although it's not recommended, we have laid in bed/sat on the bed with our daughter to help her get comfortable with her new "big girl bed." Never once was I worried that it wouldn't hold me! Great purchase! Highly recommended.

I bought this bed for my toddler and had it shipped to my house for only $0.97. That's less than it would cost in gas to pick it up at the nearest store. It arrived on time and in great shape. I read reviews that say the bed was difficult to put together. It took me only 45 minutes, my wife timed me, and the only difficult part was the bottom slats, but with patience it was no real problem. The bed is sturdy and my toddler loves it.

    • I do not have exact dimensions to length and width are that of a toddler/crib mattress. Box height is about 5-6". Weights about 25 lbs.

    • If your seats lay flat or you have a wide trunk it will fit in a car. If you have a larger vehicle, truck, svu or crossover it will fit for sure. The box was about 4ft tall and maybe 5-6 inches thick. I was able to carry it and put it in our car easily.

    • I fit it in my Toyota prius without moving the car seat. I reclined the passenger seat and buckled it in. Worked fine.

    • Not sure what size car you have but the box is not huge. 55 inches long 24 inches wide 5 inches deep The mattress is separate, wrapped in plastic. I had it shipped to my local Walmart to avoid shipping costs.

I'm approx 140 pounds and my son is approx 27 pounds. I know it says up to 50, but have you layed in it and felt ok?
    by Crystal 4/4/2013
    • I don't trust the quality of the bed frame to lay in it. I'm 123 lbs and feel like I might go through it if I laid in it lol. I used to lay in my oldest sons toddler bed (it was a Thomas the train very sturdy). This frame is not solid enough for an adult in my opinion.

    • It is not recommended, the weight limit is 50lbs. The unit may sustain structural damage if the weight limit is not respected.
