World Class Championship Wrestling became one of the most syndicated shows in the world until a string of shocking tragedies drove the Von Erich family and the promotion down a path nobody could have imagined. Kevin Von Erich is the only brother that remains. His four younger brothers, and many others, were caught up in the tragedies that brought the curtain down on World Class Championship Wrestling long before its time. This is the story of the ill-fated Von Erich family, almost all of whom died tragically before their time. The first family to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, the Von Erichs were at one time the most popular act in wrestling - but sadly tragedy befell the family and only one of six brothers lived to see his 34th birthday. The Von Erich family was inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.
