Rated 5 out of 5 by Halfmoonslash Over all I like my phone.
This phone was my first smart phone. I like all the free downloads and the full keyboard. The better I learn the phone, the more I like it.
The only thing I dis-like about it is that I am use to hitting a button to end a phone call. So in turn I would hit the back button. Instead of ending the call it gives me options to go through my phone while im on the call, which isn't a bad thing... If I do that I have to access my notifications, resume my call and hit end call on the touch screen. It also doesn't seem to have a phone app to download to address that issue. (If some one reads this and can make that app. I would like an option to chose a button on my phone that would end the call.)
Rated 4 out of 5 by sss2008 I love this phone and the keyboard is nice too... it does everything i want and it not slow at all
Rated 3 out of 5 by ldavis729 for what its worth..
this phone meets average expectations. I bought one for myself and my boyfriend..and its a decent phone for what you can get using prepaid service. It doesn't get as good of service as my last phone since it runs off Sprint towers and not Verizon, who seems to have more coverage areas. The battery does die pretty fast..i have to make sure if i need my phone in the evening to charge it mid day so it doesn't die. Also i was alil disappointed that the camera has no flash also. But like i said its got a lot of capabilities considering it is a prepaid phone.

A great phone for the price. Bought about three weeks ago and can't put it down. A great buy.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Legit8305 phone is great but...
i love the phone, androids are really good, ive had a verizon wireless htc incredible and it was the best phone ever, (what a downgrade lol)so when i got this phone, i was lookin forward to it. got the phone, was workin great until my 3G just dropped out of no where and hasnt picked up since. i downloaded music onto it and had some playing through the built in speaker, the phone died but the music was still playing so i had to take the battery out, i mean over all it would be a great phone, it just has some issues. its been about a month since ive had the phone. it turns off randomly. its a 50-50 chance i guess really.
Rated 4 out of 5 by CJmiller724 Pretty great for a prepay phone!
Read some reviews on the phone and they basically all said good things so I got one for myself and one for my husband and we both love ours. I didn't even read the manual/instructions and the phone was still very easy to use. Freezes every once in a while but just for a second or two and then catches up. Battery life is kind of low but that's basically the same with all smart phones. Service is great here too!
Rated 4 out of 5 by StampinAngel Good phone, great apps.
I really like the phone. I like the ease of using FB, checking emails, lots of apps to choose from. Overall a great phone. Coverage~is not as good as I expected. Works great in towns/cities, anywhere close to the interstate. Outside of that, not so good in the mtns. and off the beaten path, so to speak. Battery life-you will definitely need to download a battery saver app. That has helped alot. Also I now have a vehicle charger. I use my phone alot! I love the unlimited plan~saves me a ton of money. I hope I never have to go back to a contract phone again.

Exceeds expectations. Works flawlessly. Many, many features.
Rated 4 out of 5 by AshleyCT great phone slight issue
Great overall phone with one issue. The battery! I have to charge it
Twice a day and that really bothers me. It may not be a issue for those of you who don't use your phone much.
Rated 5 out of 5 by shortiekid1212 greatest phone i have had
this is the greastest phone i have ever had with straight talk theres a few things that are bad like the battery getting overheated and some freezing issues but its an andriod your gonna have that.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Caramel0819 Great phone for being prepaid!
I just got the phone today but I have been messing with it and I can view youtube with great quality. I noticed that in some places the bars are really low but it doesn't stop it from working well. Overall I am very happy and excited with the purchase.
Rated 5 out of 5 by milktruck Great phone, good coverage in the DFW area
So far this phone works great. Unlike some other slide phone I've had this one seems very durable. I haven't had any problems with freezes or the phone slowing down. Apps run smooth, and the navigation system works ok but I wouldn't toss the Garmin for it. Keep it on the charger as much as you can while you have the GPS and WiFi features turned on, they drain the battery pretty quick.
I'm a local truck driver in the DFW Texas area and I have'nt had problems with 3g coverage, signal strength remains medium to full bars everywhere I go.
Rated 1 out of 5 by lmasseylolo Buyer beware
Buyer beware! Nothing against the phone itself because I never got a chance to use it! Before you buy the Android make sure you go to the Straight Talk site and look at the coverage map! These phones are covered by Sprint towers and they don't tell you that on all the commercials! I bought one and Verizon would not activate it because I was not in the coverage area! I had to return it. Needless to say I was very upset! So do yourself a favor and check and see if you have Sprint towers and that you are in the coverage area in your area before you buy this phone.
Rated 3 out of 5 by volumedealer1 It Takes 5 HOURS to charge this phone. RE-DIC-U-LOUS.
It takes less time to drain the battery, than it is to charge it.
There are only two smart phones for ST,now they other option is a lesser Android, and this is the one that's suppose to be better.
Rated 5 out of 5 by countryluv It works in all areas
I own a straight talk phone straight talk service works everywhere there is a phone tower they are an old FBI line and bounce off of all towers to at&t, sprint, Verizon, and T-mobile so it will usually always work anywhere unless you live in a valley where there are no phone towers. So i suggest you buy this phone it is excellent and works almost anywhere
Rated 3 out of 5 by rbl313 No Flash Player for Video
It Barely works at my house. Works off of sprint towers. You cannot download Flash player to play any movie or video or webpage that uses Flash Player. If you need a phone that will work right inside of town and dont need Flash player then this would be a great phone for you. A lot of the apps on the market you can download but they will not work because you have no Flash Player.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Fourthtimeisthecharm I was not aware that Sprint had bought Straight talk when I purchaced the phone on line. When I put my zipcode in to check to see if there was enough coverage it brought up there were 18 towers in my zip. However when I finally got someone inat straight talk that spoke English!! He put my zip in and informed me that one Verizon no longer owned Straight Talk and there were ONLY TWO TOWERS in my area not 18. bIG DIFFERENCE for a 200 dollar phone!
Rated 1 out of 5 by geoffreysmom aweful phone
i have had this phone for about 6 months and have hated every minute of it. it freezes up gets terrible reception and has no memory.
Rated 1 out of 5 by PortageLakes Unbelievably bad quality phone
Had one and it worked 8 months then locked up.
Tracfone deleted all 586 contacts while trying to "Fix" the phone. Ended up having to go get another.
2nd phone would not activate and screen was locked.
Again returned for exchange
3rd phone also would not activate
4th phone is still working after 36 hours.
Rated 5 out of 5 by NotForYouEither Great phone for new and experienced smartphone use
This was my first smart phone and I love it. Only bad thing was the storage space on the phone itself, but it did come with a 4gb sim card so that took care of that. Great phone.
Rated 2 out of 5 by bnwmusiclover Runs on Sprint Network. No signal around trees.
If you live in an area like Chase City, Va or in any farm area..or any area in general that is not in a big city, don't buy this phone. The phone itself is great but the service was poorly chosen. Straight Talk has phones that work great but they work on a Verizon network, the other is an ATT network which isn't excellent but is much better than Sprint who has no service towers in areas that you certainly wouldn't want to be stranded in with no signal like in the boondocks or on a dirt road near the woods. lol.
Rated 2 out of 5 by MojoMann Poor
The features and WiFi are Great. However even though with the option of looking if it will work in my zip code it says it will, but guess what? No phone signal at all, I have to go about 2 miles from my home before I can get a wireless signal. Even with "Signal Booster" apps, nothing. If looking for a smartphone you may be better off going with a contract phone instead of pre-paid. (Runs off Sprint Towers)
Rated 1 out of 5 by nwalaman2 This phone has a very poor signal in NW Alabama and absolutly no signal in some areas for about 50 miles, I am probably going to return this phone! now you knw!

This is my first touch screen phone.
PROS: I love the Speak Now options. I can speak and it types texts or looks things up online or calls people. Also Swype is the best.feature.ever! It is so much easier than typing each key when the phone is slid open or carefully tapping each button on the screen. All you have to do is swype your finger across the keyboard and it either displays what you meant to text or gives you word options. It automatically uppercase words and adds in spaces as well
CONS: battery life is very short. I can't go all day at work ((not really using/on my phone)) and still have battery left when I get off work to call/text/check my email before charging again. Also the internet is kind of slow and half the time or more it won't let me upload pictures to facebook.
Rated 5 out of 5 everything works besides netflix.
the net flix app is all boxey and deosnt work right
Rated 1 out of 5 by TriedAgain Bad Service
Upon purchasing the Optimus Q Android we attempted to have a Straight Talk person help with switching over. She was hard to understand and generally rude. In the end she hung up on us . Topping it off, we had no service and we lost our original phone number and remaining 12 days of service. We gave up on Straight Talk and went with Walmarts Family Mobile.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Nodoubtnorfear Not worth the effort.
I have 2 straighttalk cell phones and was upgrading a family member with this smartphone. However, in my area of Michigan was not very smart and not worth the effort. As many have written, the phone freezes regularly and does need the battery removed and re-inserted to make the phone functional again. This occurred at least 2x per day. The sprint network coverage was poor. There was no service in areas that my verizon tower straighttalk phones did have service. I returned the phone in less than a week.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Rodjarrod1 DO NOT BUY
I would not have bought this phone if they had told me it was a sprint phone. They used and old address not my current address to activate it. I have no coverage and they tell me to fix what they did I would loose my phone number. As soon as I find something else I will drop this. Will never buy another Straight Talk phone
Rated 2 out of 5 by TwiztidJuggalette Honestly Hate it
I was on who never wanted to get a touch screen but after my env3 broke i figured why not give it a try. i fell in love with the keyboard which is what sold me on it. now after owning it for some time now i can honestly say I deff hate it! between the phone freezing, Powering on and off during my phone calls (or not even being used),not reciving phone calls/txt msges or pictures, not being able to send pictures, connect to WiFi and battery dying quick when not even being used has pushed me to want a phone that is going to last
Rated 5 out of 5 by bkquig Love it. Easy and the QWERTY keyboard is so nice.
I love my new phone. I really like lg. Oh them straight talk unlimited plans is great. and it takes awesome pictures takes awesome pictures!
