Rated 5 out of 5 by Marime70 A beautiful cell phone!!!!
This cellphone is very good, works perfectly, the battery last all day using the cellphone a lot with facebook, messenger, dictionary, bank apps, and messages. The only problem here is that in my area (Cordelia, CA) there is supposedly 4g network, but it's not true. The service it's always in edge and it's only 2 or 3 bars of reception, I just could get 4g reception when I was at Fairfield, but I don't live there so, I do not recommend Tmobile company if u live at cordelia area unless u want to have this cellphone just for calls and messages, but if u want to surf into the web it will take so long to tell u that the network is not working and RETRY.
Rated 4 out of 5 by CouponNewMom You get what u pay for
i signed over to T-mobile prepaid and my previous (higher-end) contract device fell in milk so i was left without a phone. i wanted something that was almost as fast as my previous phones' processor & reviews said this device was one of the most elite prepaid cells.
its great for what i paid. camera is nice. too many pre-installed apps that take up space. android software is up to date. phone's design isnt the best becus it looks cheap & doesnt look durable.
Rated 3 out of 5 by coupongrl0202 Great alternative.
I have been wanting to go back to a smartphone forever and this is a really great plan. We don't get good voice coverage everywhere with tmobile, but I mainly use this when we are out and about. I love the fact that phone is upgradable, has great voice quality, and doesn't seem like a prepaid phone. It is not as responsive as my iPhone but it cost me nothing. The best thing about thing this phone that is not mentioned is telenav. It is a free app and gives you directions based on traffic. Excited to transfer my number and contacts with tmobile.
Rated 5 out of 5 by dizenchanted Phone works pretty well. T-mobile 4G service good.
1. The phone:
a. I like the phone so far. Good size screen. Buttons are fine for texting.
b. The only hard part has been finding accessories for cheap.
Luckily I have found screen covers and car chargers online at ebay and amazon for cheap.
c. The boot time is about 40 seconds
(mine is longer after adding a 32GB class 4 microSD. I should have spent more and got the faster access speed microSD cards, like a class 6 or class 10 microSD)
2. Coverage: I'm in zip code 88011. I get good 4G at and around the Las Cruces, NM area.
3. the walmart 30/month plan: Has worked well for me.
4. NOTE: I had a problem with billing once, due to a website I visited extracting $9.99 from my account. I had my phone account set to auto-pay the $30 every month and after the $9.99 was extracted, the remainder in account was only $21. Not enough to continue service. I was not happy to be unable to use my phone for data until I called T-mobile.
T-Mobile CSR quickly removed the charge and then I signed up with T-mobile to have any app or service trying to pull funds from my account to be "BLOCKED".
My suggestion: After you activate phone and obtain the apps you want, the next thing you should do is have T-mobile put a block on any apps or downloads that try to pull funds.
So now, if I see an app I want I simply contact T-mobile and tell them it is okay for a specific app to pull a specific amount of funds from my account.
Rated 5 out of 5 by PasadenaGyrl91103 LOVE , LOVE , LOVE this phone!
I happen to be so happy to find this phone on walmart.com. This phone was previously stolen from me and I'm not a fan of holding HUGE touch screen phones. It was delivered right on time and it does just about everything I need it to (e-mail, text, it's 4G and it has a front face camera). I wish I had seen this phone before obtaining another contract and paying extra on my bill. Next time I know where to come for another phone replacement!
Rated 3 out of 5 by mydogisfat Good for the price, but laggish.
So I got this phone less than a week ago and it works pretty well. It runs apps well and is fairly fast but when I exit an application it takes up to 30 seconds for my apps+widgets to show up on my home screen(which is only an inconvenience). It also started vibrating and would not stop yesterday. It wasn't one vibration after the other, just one long constant vibration. The charger stopped working after one charge but it was not the phone as my other chargers work perfectly fine in it so that doesn't really matter. Mine could just be a bad one, I think I'll return it if they let me and try my luck with another one. A lot of issues so far for me and I have had it less than a week.
Rated 5 out of 5 by eCycler Outstanding Andorid Tablet/Phone
I have used cell phones since the days they came in shoe boxes. This is by far the best phone I have ever owned. It is the first non contract phone as well, and I can tell you, I never ever plan on going back to the contract. The internet connection is fantastic, I have never have come close to my limits . This to me is more tablet computer then phone. Texting is unlimited so no worries about text charges. The phone is limited to 100 minutes but so far the most I have used is 70 minutes. Of course I do not use the phone very often so it works out fine. Applications under Android 2.3 run great. No problems. Games run fast and smooth, as do videos and ther media.
Easy learning curve. Just recommended this to my son. I would recommend this phone and plan to everyone.
Rated 4 out of 5 by mtomm For the price this is an excellent phone
I did not buy this phone for myself but for my son. I decided I needed to try it out to make sure it was a good before I gave to him as a gift. I do not use T-mobile as my service provider but instead I used a Straight Talk AT&T sim card. This has worked out very well and is very affordable.
I have had no issues with reception, tethering, texting, talking. The camera is good, and the front facing camera is a bonus. The touchscreen seems fine. Once in a while I've had an issue with it not responding to my touch which I think is related to processing speed and not the touchscreen.
There is tons of bloatware from T-mobile. If this was my phone and not a gift I would certainly use the means necessary to delete that.
Battery life is adequate but I haven't known anyone that wouldn't like to get more life out of every battery. I believe using power saver and managing open apps helps conserve battery life.
Rated 5 out of 5 by AnonymousNickname2011 Excellent value
I needed a smartphone to do 99% email and web browsing and 1% voice calls. Got this phone with the $30 monthly plan (100min talk + unlimited web). Phone does its job for me well. I live in an area where coverage from all phone companies is spotty at best. Rarely get 4G but mostly am on the EDGE network speed. When I am in an area that has good coverage I see mostly 4G.
I do not have any need for the rest of the android applications. Phone user interface took a little while to get familiar with. Battery does not seem to last more than a 1.5 days or so but that seems to be the issue with all of these smart phones. So I carry around the USB cable and charge phone when connected to laptop via USB.
Have used this phone for the last week and am happy to recommend.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Maddpaul Excellant value
I ended up buying the phone because it was compatable with the $30 a month walmart plan with unlimited web and text messaging. It only comes with 100 minutes of talk but heck, with all the texting, social media, and e-mailing that goes on, I find myself rarely calling people anymore anyways. I'm a guy who is perpetually lost so I love the built in GPS. It links to my personal e-mail account so I don't even need to use my home computer most of the time. I'd recommend this to anyone for normal day to day usage.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Kaysleighsmom Good phone and easy to use. the first one i purchased was faulty but the staff at my local walmart had no problem helping me replace it. reliable and sturdy, i would definitely recommend it.
Rated 1 out of 5 by RobynDeAnn08 Horrible phone,Worst money ever spent!!!
I bought this phone for my husband and for the price you would think its a great phone but its the worst phone he has ever had.it just cuts itself off at random moments and it freezes up all the time and is always messing everything up.since it was like 2 weeks old.I am an iphone user myself and would never waste money on a piece of jumk like this one for myself.we will be shopping for a new phone.
Rated 4 out of 5 by nothing2hide meets expectations
great phone great price on tmobile website they is selling it for 359.00 so paying 189.00 isn't bad and it kinda exceeded my expectations really
Rated 5 out of 5 Great price on excellent entry-level phone
My wife and I bought two of these as entry-level smartphones. The price was just right. Although advertised as prepaid, you can use it with any contract plan, too. The prepaid plans are good, but have one big flaw: you don't get roaming. That means if you're not within range of a t-mo tower, no signal: no talk, no text, and no data. On the other hand, the post-paid plans (i.e., contract) DO include roaming, so if there is any t-mo or at&t tower in range, you will most likely have talk, text, and data capability. NOTE also: T-mobile has contract promotion now (Summer-Fall 2012): sign up for 2-yr value plan (e.g., $100/mo for two phones of unlimited talk, text, & data) and get three more lines of 500 minutes talk and unlimited text for free (until Jan '13); after that it's $5/mo. Add in the unlimited data for $10/line. They don't care where the additional lines live--even if other side of the country! Pretty good deal for our family (or five friends!) who are ready to start a new contract: five lines of talk, text, and data for about $175/mo (incl taxes), or about $35/mo per line--and even less until Jan 2013. Check it out!
Rated 5 out of 5 by tmobileisactuallyprettyok having 5GB of internet is awesome. 4G works faster than my former 3g. however, for some reason, my phone restarts everything every so often. it doesn't turn off, but all the apps, even ones i am currently working on, will restart and then ill have to start all over. i dont know why it restarts, but it'll tell me ill lose internet connection and my 4G signal is gone, happens alot actually. the text messaging is also slow, but i just downloaded the Go SMS app so I don't have to wait so long. Another downside is using GOOGLEVOICE thinking you won't use up your 100 minutes, just because your using the "internet" for it. but tmobile tracks it down and counts it as your minutes as well, so beware of that. so other than losing 4G signal quite often, slow text messaging, and not having too great of voice over IP usage, it's still a cool phone with an AMAZING PRICE on the data!

I have owned this android for about a month and I love it.I had a Samsung comeback for a year and could really only access Facebook and my music and pics it was ok it did the trick but was not enough.I really didn't know much about androids but I bought this and figured I would like it and sure enough it's easy.I love all the features like GPS,camera, etc and I have downloaded a ton of apps, music and photos and it does not slow it down.I am very pleased with my purchase and would definately recommend this phone.
Rated 5 out of 5 by WallyShppr Excellent Product!
I bought this phone as an upgrade from a Tmobile Comet. Right away, out of the box, this phone met/exceeded my expectations.
Power on/off and processing speed are fast, browsing is quick and the screen resolution is great! The only frustration I have is the placement of the power button... sometimes I accidentally turn off the screen.
Additionally, the volume and clearness of the phone is great, and I didnt have a problem pairing my bluetooth earpiece.
If you are looking for a quality android phone for an knockout price, then this is the one.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Blzaelvr Love it!
I purchased this phone to replace my old Samsung Exhibit (the first one). I have a contract with T-Mobile was not about to pay $400+ for a phone. This one was $150 cheaper at Walmart then the T-Mobile store...YEAH $150 CHEAPER.
It's small and thin but has a big clear screen which is great. It's easy to use and easy to setup. I can transfer pictures from the phone to my computer and from my computer to my phone. AWESOME! I don't do any social networking (facebook or twitter etc...) so It's great for games, checking e-mail and texting.
THe only thing that I do not like about this phone is that is does not have a notification light or a minute reminder that you have a unread text message or missed call. You have to actually look at the phone to know. Otherwise great phone and even more great price!

I like this phone! It's a good phone for the beginner/intermediate smart phone user. I would recommend!
Rated 5 out of 5 by GreatDealjw Love this Phone !!!!
The first one I purchased had problems. Locked up several times, then it started rebooting itself over and over again. With all that I was still trying to work around it than have to wait to send it back. I enjoyed it that much. Anyway, I sent the phone back to T-moble in TX. They mailed me a new one and it’s faster than the old one. It feels good not to be under contract anymore.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Live2Camp Great smartphone!! Worth 189.
I have had this phone aboout 3 weeks now and love it!!! Android is awesome and love all features. Decent battery, great app's. A great value at $189.00.
Rated 5 out of 5 by BWandroid33 Great Android Phone
This is my first Android phone and I am impressed. I have used net 10 for several years and wanted to move up to a smart phone, but I don't want the contract and I like cheap unlimited options and T-Mobile with Wal-Mart is it! This phone battery will last all day then recharge at night. The apps for android a growing by the day. I have the iPod touch 3rd Gen with 32 gig HD and since I purchased a 32 gig micro SD card, I haven't touch my iPod. Accessories for the phone were tough to find at Wal-Mart so I went online and found more options. Coverage is better for me than the net 10 also. This is a great android phone.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kellydang what a great phone!
I bought this phone about 2 months ago. It's great and so cheap more than any smart phone i was looking for. it's easy to use, i swap my T-mobile sim card and it works. So i still use old phone number. I love my new cellphone.
Pros: Web, apps, camerra, the display and size are good.
Cons: battery life is not excellent.

Bought this when my HTC broke for some reason. This last longer and I love it's front facing camera. Updated it to the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit which, I have no clue what it did, except for changing it's name. WONDERFUL smartphone and an affordable price as well. :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by brittbubbles Great Phone for Pre Paid
I was dissatisfied with my contract phone and chose to switch to prepaid. I chose this phone because it is Android powered, has a camera flash, has 4G, and has some of the best coverage for a prepaid Android. The phone itself is almost what I expected. I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find out the camera does not have a factory installed zoom. I have owned the phone for about 8 months now and I am considering switching back to a contract phone. I miss the coverage area!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Skwirt I wanted to get a smart phone and not waste $70 a month. This phone with the special Walmart plan of $30 for 100 minutes and unlimited text and internet was a perfect answer.
