Great looks for it's price range. Fantastic function. For $20 or so dollars you get a great carefree high function watch. Take it in the water, lose it, whatever. I've had many diver style watches for over 20 years and I was looking for something to replace my failed Timex Expedition (my cheap working watch). I had high expectations based on the pictures. I would have bought the Timex model, but on most of them, the Timex bezel doesn't rotate, its near useless. Onto the Casio. Great price target. Waterproof, the rotating bezel is a nice feature I've found very useful over the years. The casio bezel rotates, but only holds its position with friction, there is no ratcheting. It can be turned in both directions, and could be bumped out of the setting if it struck something. I wouldn't use it for diving or anything critical. The resin molded band is not a band I've really ever liked much. I don't find them comfortable or breathable. In particular this one can keep my wrist damp on hot days. Search for 'casio cloth watch', and you will find a green and black version of this with a breathable fabric band (VERY COMFORTABLE, but may will fray at the eyelet holes, especially as it rubs body or laptop :). Since I bought both Casios, I like them both. I'll likely swap bands. Both keep excellent time. I LOVE the day feature. They could get a bit more money for this thing if they put a nice breatable band on it, and added electroluminescent backlighting, and an indexing bezel. Especially if there was a magnifier for the date. Overall for price, fantastic, but not comfy. Go fabric if it matters. Good looking too!

The watch looks like the photo,is accurate, inexpensive and perfect to wear during my tennis matches. There was a problem in actually getting the watch. I received e-mails indicating there would be a slight delay. After two weeks I went to my Hilton Head store. The employee behind the Walmart.com dexk was extremely helpful. We walked over to the jewelry department and she looked fot the watch. Yes, there it was in the safe with my name on it. If your emplyee had not been so proactive, I wouldn't have my watch and you would have lost a sale. Perhaps your system for checking in internet orders shoud be reviewed.

    • The outside ring rotates allowing you to time things.

    • The rotating bezel is the ring around the face that has the red triangle, 15, 30, & 45 on it. It can be rotated to line up any number on it with one of the hands on the watch. The watch is called a diver's watch so, for instance, if you have one hour's air, you would line up the red-triangle with the minute hand, wherever it happens to be pointing, and when the minute hand comes back to the red triangle, you're out of air and about to drown. More likely, we would use it to remind us of the time we've just paid for on a parking meter, and when to be back to avoid a citation. (Just between you and me, mostly, it's just for looks.)

    • You can rotate the outer ring so minute hand points to zero mark on ring. Allows to to track minutes as they pass. It turns freely, with only friction. No ratcheting

    • The bezel is marked from 0 to 60 and can be rotated around the dial to mark a specific amount of elapsed time. For example, if the minute hand is at the 12 minute mark, you could rotate the bezel to align the 0 with the minute hand to mark the starting point of a timed event. Or, you can put the 0 at the point on the dial to mark an end time, like a countdown timer. So you have the choice of using it as an elapsed timer or a countdown timer, depending on where you place the 0 mark on the bezel in relation to the minute hand.

    • A rotating bezel allows you to mark time while diving, driving etc., by placing the point on the bezel to a number for reference. It can also with training be used with a map for navigational purposes.

    • when you start your scuba dive you rotate the benzel with the red mark (zero or start dive time) to the minute hand on the watch. as time progresses you can read how many minutes you have been underwater because the moving minute hand will point to a different and progressively larger number on the benzel. this is only necessary if you are diving deeper than 33 feet or do more than one dive in the same day. not timing deep scuba dives or repetitive dives leads to the bends, which is very bad.
