Rogers is his former partner Sherry, now convoying the Navy around a ballroom for 10 cents a dance. "Flying Down To Rio" (1933) Their first film together! Chorines soar on airplane wings, Vincent Youman's bright score lifts spirits even higher and Fred and Ginger steal the show with "The Carioca". "The Story Of Vernon & Irene Castle" (1939) The Fox Trot. Castle Walk. Texas Tommy. Maxie. They're steps to stardom as Fred and Ginger portray the early-1900s icons who were King and Queen of the Ballroom.
