Rated 5 out of 5 by Abecktel It all works the same no matter the price or brand
This Product was our first choice, we found it our local Walmart for 100$ cheaper than online. i would call your local store before purchasing online. It went Together pretty well, took about a hour and half. We love it!!! I would get a mat for underneath to help silence the noise of impact. This is a great treadmill and would buy it again!!!!!

I couldn't be happier with this treadmill. I read so many reviews about it and couldn't make up my mind. Well, I am glad I chose this one. I read how people had a problem with the packaging and trying to put it together... I felt it was very well packaged and had it put together in less than an hour... No problems there. I used to have a Pro Form treadmill and I think this one operates way smoother than the $600 one I gave to my dad. The belt is smooth and operates quietly. I especially love the ease of buttons and the incline.

I am having gastric bypass surgery very soon and wanted a treadmill which would enable me to walk even when the weather was bad. We purchased this at our local Wal Mart and were thrilled with the unit. It is sturdy and most of all quiet. My husband was able to assemble the treadmill without any major problems. It runs smoothly and quietly. Looking forward to logging many miles on this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Preciouskitten Great treadmill for all
I read a lot of the reviews and was a little hesitant about purchasing this product. Such as the weight, the time it takes to put together how hard it is to put together and a few other things. I'm really glad that I didn't listen to any of it. It was heavy but no more then what it should weight for being a sturdy machine. Now putting it together wasn't like taking a toaster out of the box but it had good instructions and with some common sense it's easy to do. No longer then an hour to do by yourself or less time with help. So would I buy this machine again or recommend it to someone.... YES!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ladybat So far I love it
Had it for about 2 weeks and work out on it every day. Its a nice little tread mill for the price. Has these really cool pre programed workouts that has a light that tells you when to pick up the hand weights that come with it and when to put them down. The number 4 work out is INTENSE! It will kick your tail! You WILL burn the cals off on that one for sure! The pre programed work outs last about 30 mins. And I burn off an average of 210 cals on each of these workouts. Keep in mind I'm 56 years old and I have ZERO matabolism so if you are a younger person you'll likely burn more. Its not to loud as treadmills go either. At least compared to others I've worked out on. Only thing I wish is that the panel was lighted or had larger numbers because my eye site is a bit poor and the room I work out in is a bit on the dark side. My elliptical machine I bought the same time I bought this tread mill has huge easy to read numbers on the panel. I like the panel on that machine better than the panel on this tread mill for that reason. But all in all so far I very much LOVE my new tread mill. I hope it lasts a good while.

Was pleasently surprised at how easy it was to put together. The graphics are good and like the hand weights that are included. My husband and I both have bad knees and can't really do any walking to speak of where we live so this is great. The different levels of incline and speed make it nice to change up, and the walking belt is very comfortable with some cushion to it. We have recommended this one to some friends and one of them have already purchased it and loved it also.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bikeandrun great deal for money
bought this for my wife. I didn't want to spend a lot of money as she tends not to stick with fitness regimes. However, she loves this thing. I also use it more than i thought I would. I primarily bicycle but this is a good cold weather alternative.
The package doesn't weight 300lbs as some reviews state. I think around 200lbs or less would be closer to accurate. I took about 1.5-2 hours to assemble. Not difficult with good directions. Could be done by one person but easier with two. Has good programs pre-installed or you can adjust manually with incline and speed. Only problem I've had is i had to re-center belt(easy) and it has a squeak with each footfall.
My only complaint is the accessory kit includes items you don't need. I would just like some oiling instructions but they only come with the accessory kit.
Overall, we are quite pleased with tht Gold's Gym 410

Rated 5 out of 5 by Buckeyefan427 Great treadmill for a limited budget
Just purchased the treadmill today after researching diffrent ones. Found online that this is one of the top rated treadmills in it's price range.I assembled it in about an hour by myself. One thing I found ,when bolting the side rails to the deck,if you spray the bolts with a little WD40 ,they screw in alot easier.I'm very satisified as to how easy it is to operate, and the varied workout programs.Only thing I wish the machine had is a lighted display on the panel, but I clipped a book page reading light on the console and it works fine. All in all seems to be a good machine for the price.

Very easy to put together. Needed my wifes help 2x just to hold in place. The price dropped $40 when I finally made the purchase. Thank you for paying my tax walmart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dm22 Seems to work. Good functional unit
I'm new to treadmills. Haven't really used them in a gym or home. But I'm generally happy and impressed with this unit. Seems to work fine. I like the exercise programs. The powered incline is nice and put to good use in the programs. The running deck can be a little small but seems fine for this price range. I have notice issues with the belt slipping sometimes, but tightening it up using the instructions in the manual mostly resolved that. Would be nice if the display was lit. Would be nice if there was a place to hold your iPad. But overall, seems to work well, it quiet. Its exceeded my expectations so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by zencherry Very Sturdy and Multifaceted
I never expected all the little extras that came along with this treadmill.
For instance:
- Two little trays that can hold a remote or a bottle of water.
- The incline goes from 0 - 10 and 10 is a whopper of a mountain.
- The speed goes from pokey to superfly and you'd best have wings for speed 10 too.
Very sturdy deck though putting it together required some very odd screwdriver angles and a few new colorful words. Still, easy to do if you do it slowly.
The electronic screen is very showy and gym-quality. I do have a little wobble in the handrail though.
Very good value. I would compare this to that 1,000 dollar one from the bow people that like to flex.

Great treadmill. Just be sure to put it together where you want it to stay. It's bigger than you think. No problems at all. Very sturdy.

After 2 hours of assembly time, registration and maneuvering the treadmill where I wanted it, I was too tired to use it. All jokes aside, I'm very happy with the Gold's Gym trainer. It has all of the necessary functions that you would need to achieve your goals. The pulse rate monitor was not acurate, but I rarely use that function. The L.E.D. screen was dark and hard to read, so you will need plenty of light to monitor your work out. The dumb-bells and the "pick up dumbbells" signal are a great accessory, you can really burn extra calories. This treadmill is very similar to the equipment at the gym. My gym away from the gym.

I love this treadmill - I haven't been motivated to exercise in a very long time - this keeps you moving - also love the dumbells to work the arms. I hesitated to buy another piece of exercise equipment just to collect dust, but this is great. It does the work for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CorkyF This treadmill definitely meets my needs
I enjoy walking everyday and it is hard to do when the weather is bad. I walk on this treadmill up to 2 miles a day for the last two weeks without any problems. All of the weight loss programs are challenging, so 4 of them is adequate for my needs. My son put the treadmill together without incident and the pulse indicator works good. The machines tends to be a little noisy, but with music or the TV on, I really don't notice it much. I would recommend this low cost machine for anyone who just wants one to walk on and doesn't need a lot of bells and whistles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by chooseHIM Love It
This may not have all the bells & whistles of some of the more expensive treadmills, but it is a GREAT purchase if you want a treadmill that gives you many options and one that can be a spacesaver. My kids are even using it. The price is within a excellent range for a budget minded family, and is still interested in getting the full benefits without having to go to the gym and spend membership fees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wheeler54 After using this treadmill for a month, I am very satisfied with it. It is well worth the money spent. Easy to assemble. The only issue I have had is the heart rate bar doesn't always seem to register correctly. Other than that (which I consider a small thing) it has been great!

I was really nervous at first when I purchased this item because of some of the nightmare reviews. I was instead very much relieved that so far I have had no issues, it was simple to put together and have already started losing weight! I would recommend this to anyone who is wanting to lose weight or even just wanting a fun treadmill! The workouts are a challenge and they switch up with the weights. I do suggest getting the extended warranty just in case! Can never be to safe!

Rated 4 out of 5 by StayinAlive excellent exercise for all ages
The trainer 410 is a very good piece of equipment (so far). It has a lot of options for calorie burning and preformance options. The only thing that we had problems with was the instalation of the console, the pre-set screw holes didn't line up properly with the handle alingment and it took my son and me a lot of effort to get it finished. The 410 is a great treadmill for this 74 year old.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bobbie77 Good Treadmill but...
I purchased this March 1, 2012 and so far it was great until this morning. A majority of the push buttons on the console quit working. I went to the warranty provider at www.iconservice.com and they were VERY helpful and ordered me a new console. I wouldn't leave such a shining comment if it wasn't for the warranty replacement ease of use. The treadmill is pretty good before this happened. I walk/run 5-6 miles on it per day.

I am so glad I purchased this. I was hesitant at first but when I got it home and put together I was pleasantly surprised. The only tough part was assembling it. It did take a while.. and a lot of patience. Have had it 3 days now and have walk/ran on it every day for at least 2 hours. Holds up well and could not be more satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by klk629 Perfect treadmill for someone trying lose weight
We searched high and low for a treadmill that we could afford, but that would also have some of the features of the higher costing models. This one fit that perfectly. We purchased it online and had it delivered to the store for free. My husband and I picked it up...it was heavy but not too bad. I had read some horror stories about putting it together so I was very nervous for that part. thankfully, the parts are organized and clearly labeled. It took the two of us about an hour and a half to complete the assembly.
Love the preset weight loss programs...they are challenging for someone who really has never exercised.
We have been using it for over a month now and are very happy with all aspects of it so far!
