Rated 5 out of 5 by tesstjewel When I purchased this item, I was very satisfied with it's price, I couldnt hardly wait to get it home. It was extremely heavy to carry, my husband had to get a friend to help him. When he took it out the box my desire was completely meet. The treadmill was beautiful, it gave me the look that, I needed, for a in home-gym treadmill. It was very easy to assemble, the manufacturer description, said that it would require two people, to assemble, but one did the job. When I pluged it up I felt like crying because it was so loud, I immediately wanted to take the treadmill back. But as I delayed and pondered and walked on it, the loud sound vanished. This treadmill is perfect not only because of its price, look, and quality; it is huge. I really like my perfect treadmill and my desire is meant with this treadmill.....
Rated 3 out of 5 by MrsGberry Extremely Loud but Overall Good Buy
So my husband purchased this product for me after I read many reviews and settled on this treadmill. He put it together ALONE within about 2 hours and we where ready to rock and roll. The belt and bottom of the treadmill comes fully assembled, but we noticed that we had to adjust the belt because it seemed to slip a little while walking on it. I read many reviews which listed this product as quiet but that was not the case for me. I like to work out in the morning before my children wake up and this treadmill makes that extremely difficult because it is so loud. The heart rate monitor also malfunctions a little. The treadmill comes with a little magnetic key that you can clip on your shirt to turn it on and off. However, the key is not attached to the treadmill so if you lose it you will have to reorder another one in order to use the machine. The incline is very little, I incline it to the highest level and I can barely feel the difference. I personally would of paid a little more for a quieter machine. Overall, you get what you pay for and for 377.00 its a decent machine.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Thumper28 Good home treadmill but many faults on arrival.
The treadmill arrived after 7 days in transit to store from 120 miles away. We unpacked it and put it together no problem. However, the running belt was loose and almost stopped when you stood on it, so I tensioned that. Then my wife used the first fixed program and it just continued inclining until the motor jammed. Luckily I am an Engineer, so was able to sort this issue also but these are not things I expect on a new machine and would not be fixable by the average person..........
Rated 5 out of 5 by tbllbt You will love it
I am a 229lb male who was looking for this to get back into running and I absolutely love this machine. I used to be someone who would think price meant quality but here its simply value equals quality. This treadmill does great for me and I love that the base just folds right up for saving space. This machine has no lag when I run and with the quick speed and incline buttons I never have to loose balance trying to hold down a speed or incline button during a workout. The operation is perfect, consistent, and smooth. I was looking at other machines with all the maps and Ipod hook ups and etc..... but I run with my headset on anyway and if you need scenery to run......go outside. If all your looking for is something to exercise with... this is it.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Popeye2000 Awesome treadmill, especially for the price
I have only had this treadmill for a few days, so I cannot speak for long term operation, but so far this treadmill was well worth the buy.
Delivery was excellent. Wal-Mart used a freight carrier who was good at communicating and scheduling the delivery of the treadmill to my home. I will say the delivery company set a 5 hour window for delivery, but I requested a call 1 hour prior to delivery and they complied. A+ on the delivery.
Assembly was easy. All the parts were provided. I was actually excited that the manufacturer had the foresight to provide a pre-installed mechanism to fish the wires from the treadmill deck to the user interface. A++
Treadmill so far is excellent. The deck seems sturdy when I'm running at any speed (I am 220 pounds) and it is very easy to operate. There are a few interval programs that are available as well, but I haven't tried them. My wife has tried a few of them, and likes them. I haven't experienced any belt slip or re-positioning of any sort, but we have only put about 30 miles since it was installed 4 days ago.
I was a little disappointed that it doesn't allow me to enter my weight to correct the "calories burned" output based on the user, but that certainly is a feature that is not necessary (plus my fitbit already provides me that information). So far that is the only negative, but not worth marking it any less than an A+
Rated 1 out of 5 by Upset1975 only walked on this thing about 15 times and the belt started fraying on the left side and the motor started making a loud noise! Called the company and was told it would be $225 to get fixed! Even after I explained I had only walked for a couple weeks and machine was kept inside! Cheapest thing Iv ever bought! Had my last machine for 10yrs and was in garage and ran 5 days a week! Wasted $400...
Rated 4 out of 5 by isodole This was the first treadmill that I have purchased. I started running this last summer. To keep it up this winter I opted to buy a treadmill - Michigan winters can be a little harsh.
Overall, I'm very happy with this product. Assembly took about 45min - 1hr. You could prolly do it by yourself, but it's easier with two people. There are 8 pre-programed workouts, which come in rather handy. It's also super easy to go at your own pace. The interface is easy to use and adjust. Use the directional buttons to incrementally adjust the speed (1 tap is 0.1mph/press and hold for 0.5 mph). I would suggest giving the instructions a once over to make sure you're familiar with everything.
I use it about 4-5 days a week, it fits right in with my regular workout schedule. Great purchase for a cheap tread mill.
Rated 1 out of 5 by tm87 DON'T BUY!
This was the biggest mistake I've made in a long time. I really thought this was going to work out great. This thing is TERRIBLE. Its so flimsy that when you run on it, it wobbles like theres an earthquake. The shock absorption is a gimmick, it barely does anything. But the worst part is that literally the 2nd time I worked out on it, half the screen went dead and the only function that worked was the incline, except that it only went down to the second position. The "keys" are actually just plastic mats, this thing is SOOOOO cheap. I'm currently taking it apart to return it. I got burned on this one, please learn from me and don't burn yourself too.
Rated 5 out of 5 by AllSmiles28 I LOVE IT!!
I normally don't write reviews which is a bit odd since I depend on them greatly when deciding things to purchase online. I was very back and fourth about wether or not to buy this Treadmill after reading some of the "not so great" reviews, but I am so glad I did!! It's perfect for me. I love the automatic adjustments with the incline. Just a push of a botton. The pre-programmed workouts are great!! And it's amazing what adding just a 2lbs weight in each hand will do to intensify your workout. It's not overly noisy, it's what you would expect for a treadmill to sound like. I can easily watch my favorite shows while working out. The only downfall about this machine is the display. It does not have any lights, so if you are not in a well lit room it is hard to see it. But that's not a huge deal, I just wish they wouldn't have left out such a simple thing that would have made this product that much better. If you are back and forth with the decision to purchase this or not, I say go for it!! It's a great treadmill for the price!! Good luck with all your exercise endeavors!!
Rated 5 out of 5 by NewYorkDebbie274 Gold's Gym Treadmill
This treadmill was much better than I expected!! Now I can just go into my basement to workout on the treadmill without leaving the house and driving to a gym. The quality is outstanding. Every day I can't wait to use it.
Rated 4 out of 5 by FineBrown Great treamill for personal use
Although this treadmill is not public gym material, it is great as home gym material. It has great weight loss workouts and dumbbells to work your arms also. I love it!
Rated 5 out of 5 by tag324 Great Treadmill
This is a great treadmill! The display is easy to read and is very easy to figure out how to use. The assembly took approximately 1 hr. 30 min. I like using the incline and also the smaller increments to speed up and slow down. I would definitely recommend this treadmill!
Rated 5 out of 5 by oneoneone Good Buy
After getting over the frustration of putting it together (3 hours) and during my first use on the 30 minute weight loss beg. program I really liked this treadmill. It is a good price point. Yes, it is not the treadmill at the gym, but for only $377 I got a really good workout. It is sturdy, the incline adjusts great, and the programs tell you when to pick up and put down the hand weights. I am happy with my purchase.
Rated 5 out of 5 by acep51 One Great Treadmill For The Price!!
This is a great treadmill The display is easy to read and is easy to figure out how to use. The assembly took approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Using the incline is just great with the slow transition with the incline you feel as if you were running outdoors. It is a lot quieter than my old one. This is really a great treadmill to use.
Buy it you will love it.
Rated 5 out of 5 by akrontimmy Very good treadmill for the money
I looked at the reviews for well over 20 different treadmills before i purchased one. This treadmill runs very quiet, has a nice mixture of workouts an it is cool how they include the workouts that involves the 2 LB weights. The treadmill took approx. an hour an 10 minutes to put together with 2 people, and im glad that i decided to make this purchase. No more running in the freezing cold, and snowy Ohio winters.
Rated 3 out of 5 by wooshy Nice product, not as "space saving" as I thought
I just bought this item mainly for the "space saver" design. It was fairly easy to put together but it's not very good if you have very limited space to store this. I thought the track would fold up nicely to be flush against the wall but it sticks out quite a bit. I had a nice spot against an outside wall for it, but it sticks out too far and is really more in the way than I wanted it to be. It does not fold upright, if that is what you are looking for. I do like all the features it has and seems to run smoothly, but I'll likely be using it this winter (and having to re-arrange my room to get it where it's not in the way) and sell it in the spring. Great item, just not a "space saving" design as it's advertised as.
Rated 5 out of 5 by NVmommy Great Treadmill!
I love this treadmill it automatically adjusts speed & incline when I select one of the workout programs. I can't stop telling people about this treadmill!
Rated 4 out of 5 by Corinnia Sturdy treadmill.
I ordered this treadmill through Walmart online and it arrived before the promised date for the in store pick-up. The box is large and weighs in at the listed weight of 300 pounds, so bring your truck and a helper! You will need to supply a screw driver, but the allen wrenches are included with the treadmill since this is not a slide-out-of-the-box and use item. You will need to remove a couple of packing brackets, attach the up-right bars that hold the handles and control panel. It is not difficult to set up the treadmill, but it will take at least an hour to set up.
The manufacture's paperwork suggested to plug the treadmill into a surge protector, so I used a power strip with a build in surge protector....this resulted in safety and ease in turning on/off the machine. Walking on the treadmill is stable, it feels sturdy and the controls are clearly marked. Noise level is low. I feel comfortable walking on the treadmill. I would suggest this machine to anyone looking for an inexpensive treadmill with a goodly number of built-in programs.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Runningwithonions Excellent for price!
This treadmill is perfect for someone that can't make it to the gym or has no gym nearby.
The heart rate and calories burned monitor. I can't really dock it a star because a machine at this price (nor the ones at the gym) aren't very accurate with heart rate and caloric burn.
The star, value, and expectations decrease comes because of the fact that one don't know what the pre-programmed workouts are. The only thing on the treadmill are little bars/stair symbols. You have no idea of what incline you're going to rise to, nor the speed (unless there's some special way to read them that I don't know about, these symbols are useless). All you know is when the speed or incline will decrease or increase.
I'd hate for a beginner to exercise, to get on there and want to do a pre-programmed workout, then for to it increase and hurt themselves. Granted, the increase in this treadmill is slow and it does give you warning beeps, but it would have been incredibly helpful if there'd been a guide to the pre-programmed workouts. I looked online and there are none, so I made one for workouts 1-3. I'll just put the max and min that you'll get on each workout here. It will give you an idea of what it involves so you won't be off guard. Keep in mind that it works you between he minimum and maximum incline and speed.
Minimum incline is 0 Minimum speed is 2
Max incline is 7 with 3.0 Speed
Max speed is incline 6 with 3.5mph
Minimum is 0 - 2mph
Max incline is 6 with 3.0 speed
Max speed is 5 incline with 3.5 mph
Workout three : My favorite so far since I haven't recorded workout 4 yet.
Minimum 0 Incline with 2mph
Max incline is 8 with 3.0
Max speed is incline 7 at 3.5mph

I love this treadmill! You get an amazing value for the money spendt. I have now had my treadmill for over a year. Like most people, I purchased my treadmill at the beginning of the year to help me accomplish my New Year's resolution. Most of my attempts at the "weight loss resolution" fail miserably each year and because of this, I wasn't willing to spend thousands on a treadmill that I couldn't guarentee I'd use long term but I also wanted a treadmill with a wide/long belt and an incline feature. I shopped around and for the money, size and features... nothing came close to the Gold's Gym 410 Treadmill. The belt is huge!! in comparison to most other treadmills for double/triple the price. In addition to the hand weights, it has several other settings for weight loss and endurance. It was easy to assemble and I have used it on average 5 times a week with absolutely no problems! This is the best treadmill for the price!
Rated 5 out of 5 by WalkingWhileWorking Quiet, easy to use, sturdy
I've had this treadmill for 2 weeks and use it daily for about 1.5 hrs/day. It is under a standing desk so I can walk while I work. I did a lot of research on treadmills before buying this one. My priorities were: super-quiet, incline, ability to select speeds by number rather than starting at zero and hitting (+) 20 times to get to 2 mph. I tried a ProForm 495 and it was much too noisy. Ditto for a Smooth 9.5HR. I tried a TreadDesk Tread, and it was great, whisper-quiet, but doesn't have incline. Then I realized that the Signature SOLO S300, which is sold for $990 and intended to be used with a desk, is exactly the same treadmill as the Gold's Gym 410. I went to my local WalMart and got them to turn on the 410 for me and it was whisper-quiet, so I bought it. We didn't install the uprights and we detached the console and will be mounting it in an under-desk drawer. I don't use any of the pre-packaged workouts, so can't comment on those, but for walking up to 2 mph at a slight incline, it is extremely quiet (my feet make more noise hitting the belt than the motor does) and it seems plenty sturdy and is easy to operate, pause, restart, etc. I am very pleased with it. In fact, I typed this review while walking at about 1 mph on it !

After I burned out the motor on my 10yr old treadmill, I was anxious as to where to purchase a replacement. I hate traipsing through stores so I went on line. Turns out that this particular one was the most highly recommended in the category that I needed ie: low to medium price range and good quality ,with some extras but not too many "bells and whistles".
I needed it for jogging/running toward conditioning and weight management and not marathon training. After choosing the model, I found that Walmart had it in stock for store or home delivery and at the best price. I've used it 5-6 times and its just what I wanted. Also, it is quiet and well-cushioned and easy to use programs. I am happy with it and with Walmart!

Rated 4 out of 5 by faithful31 Great Buy!
I was worried about assembling it because I am a female and that is not my forte but my teenager helped me. We got the huge box home and took it out piece by piece, instead of carrying the entire box upstairs from the garage. Once we got it to its destination it took us about 5 hours to put it together (without a break). They say don't use power tools but when it came to screwing the top screws in on the handle that is connected to the computer part... a power tool screw driver came in handy (Phillips head). Don't use too much pressure though because you may have to unscrew to adjust the top. That was the hardest part to put together because everything needs to line up properly!! Pay attention to the directions, don't take the left and right stickers off, and once you put it together it is good to go!!! Its not too loud at all, and the incline works well. My son jogged on it and it worked well. The weight limit is 300lbs, so pay attention to that, and you should be good to go! No problems at all. Make sure you register it and get another warranty from the store, I bought a 2 year one along with the manufactures warranty covers me for 3 years. So far so good, I get a good sweat from it!! Make sure you have 2 people to assemble it! You will need someone to hold the heavy parts while you screw. Every tool you need comes with the treadmill!!! Great buy!!
Rated 1 out of 5 by doctordad123 I was very excited to put the treadmill together and try it out. It took a long time to assemble. Once assembled; there was no power! I called ION customer service and they told me 99% of the time this meant that a wire had come loose in the motor assembly during transit and to check that the red LED light was on. I took off the motor cover and found the LED light was on! I then took apart the upper display panel cover to check on that electiriczl connection and that was snapped together also. So, ten days later, I still do not have a functioning treadmill. I am very disappointed.
Rated 1 out of 5 by bunahk After 100 hours of talking to Golds Gym and still
Horrible aftersale service. Phone number takes forever to answer, and then service appointment missed, disappeared, vanished, change service agents, ..., name anything, just nobody show up to do any repair, and for the time being, the huge treadmill, weigh heavy enough that you cannot throw it away by one person, what are you going to do. Take my advice seriously, dont buy this thing, you are buying a big headache.
I bought this thing 10/22 and today 11/27 and still NOT working, spent hours and hours talking to Golds Gym... and today is day 36 and after 100s hours of talking...
No, it is still NOT working yet.
Rated 5 out of 5 by eyeonthecroocks Walmart Manger and 2 Associates
I purchased my Gold's Gym Trainer 410 Treadmill on July 6, 2012, and it is awesome. It's ideal for use in your leisurely time. Not having to worry about getting into the gym and then having to wait or possibly having to wait to use some of their machines. I simply called the McMinnville Tennessee Walmart store. And I asked to speak with the manager over the store Matthew. I asked if he could have a couple of his associates to put the treadmill together for me and delivered out to my home. There was no hustle, no bustle he said "I can do it, and I will do it" all I need is for you to come into the store 1st and pay for the item. I was down at the store in about 30 min., When I got there the treadmill was not where it was supposed to be in the sporting goods department which at 1st had me a little worried. So I had the associate over in the sporting goods department to contact Matthew, and he met me at the sporting goods department, and said he had already pulled the treadmill to the back, and it was waiting on me. I went ahead and paid my money, bought the extended warranty due to the fact I did not like just having 90 days for parts and labor, and by 3 PM that that same day the 2 associates brought it out a Mr. Jeff and a Mr. Russell. They were very kind as well as courteous. They unloaded the treadmill from the truck, laid down the rubber mat that I bought to protect my floors, they then placed the treadmill on the mat, and stayed with me until they made sure my questions where answered and that I was 100% satisfied with the job that all involved had done. This is an excellent piece of equipment for home. And if you use it wisely, and taking care of it will last you for years and years to come. As far as the McMinnville Tennessee Walmart store the manager Matthew and the 2 associates Mr. Jeff and Mr. Russell they are tops in my book that just made the product as well is spending the money that much sweeter of a deal. Let's just say in this particular case that particular Walmart store went the extra mile for the customer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by aem222 This is a good home treadmill!
We have had a couple different models of ProForm treadmills before, and this one blows those away.
Good incline for the price.
I weigh 260 pounds and I can jog on it without feeling like it will break, which is a wonderful thing for us big girls! My husband weighs 180 pounds and he can RUN on it easily. So it is very sturdy.
We have used this every day for the past month (sometimes twice a day) and have not had any belt slippage at all, which we always had problems with on our ProForms.
I love the pulse meter- none of our other "budget" treadmills had this feature.
I wish the belt was just a tiiiiny bit wider.
It is VERY HEAVY. If you are picking it up at the store, or even having it delivered to your home, you definitely need a 2nd person to help you put it in the car (or bring it inside your house). We actually ended up opening the box outside and carrying the machine inside piece by piece, because it was extremely heavy. It does have wheels so once you get it put together you can move it around your home pretty easily, but inside the box it is killer.

Spent 2 hours putting the thing together, plug it in panel lights up I get the bells and whistles but then the motor does not turn. Fresh out of the box! What a waste of money and time...So now I got to load it back up and get back over to the store and deal with that hassle. And I'm sure I have to assemble it again!!!
Rated 4 out of 5 by Chanonsgirl Definitely worth the money!
After reviewing treadmill after treadmill, I decided to order this one. I was looking at cheaper ones (in the $200 -$300 range) and learned that they were not conducive to running. I wanted a treadmill that could handle actual running for extended periods of time and this absolutely fits the bill. The incline is smooth and the speed is easy to change. It even has a magnetic key dead and center in case you need to stop the treadmill immediately. I definitely recommend this treadmill. It has several programs where you can utilize the weights!
The only negative is that when I ordered site-to-store, they did send it to the wrong location but I decided to drive about 30 minutes to the store where it was sent to avoid too much handling. The store did give me a $15 gift card for my inconvenience, however. So overall, a good experience.
