Ready for Confetti is texas songwriter Robert Earl Keen's 16th album, and his second produced by Lloyd Maines (the first was 2009's The Rose Hotel). Keen wrote or co-wrote ten of the album's 12 songs, including a redo of "Paint the Town Beige," from 1993's Bigger Piece of Sky. The album is different for Keen since he wrote most of it on the road, instead of in his usual solitary cabin, the Scriptorium.
