One of several releases that appeared in the wake of Scotty McCreery's  <i>American Idol</i> win, this EP features five songs performed during his time on the show. None of the tracks are live recordings; instead, they're all presented in their extended studio versions. With the exception of "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not," all of them also appeared on the full-length American Idol Season 10: Scotty McCreery, which was released several weeks prior and offers a broader overview of McCreery's talent. Country fans will not be disappointed w/ this cd which has some of the top songs that Scotty did on American Idol. It is so good! I am supporting Scotty's music career all the way!

I was waiting for this CD to come out I wanted to get this because I love Scotty McCreery and his new single I Love You This Big. I love his voice and the songs on the CD I think he does them better than the the artist who sang them did. I can't wait until his first album comes out so I can buy it.

Scotty McCreery is one of the best country singers I've ever heard. I like the fact that he's a Christian and sings original country instead of the rock that claims to be country. I hope he stays true to his convictions. Thank you for a great cd. I have boughten another one for my son.

This is one of the best cd's I've ever owned.

This EP has most of Scotty's best performances from the show. He sounds great in all of them. I think it's great this EP is available to those who don't have itunes to download the songs through the season. I look forward to buying Scotty's debut album this fall.

I was so happy that they already got a CD out!! Love the songs "Gone", and " Are You Going to Kiss Me or Not, and of course "I Love You This Big". Can't wait for the concert in Raleigh in July to hear him in person.

5 Great Songs We've heard Scotty sing on Idol!

This exceeded my expectations by far! Scotty Mccreerys' voice sounds so clear, fresh and rich in this recording! I LOVE the songs! The music does not drown out the artists voice which is incredible!!!
I can't wait to get an entire cd of Scotty songs!!!!!!! I am addicted to his voice-the depth, the inflections, the tone....I could go on & on....... LOVE IT!

THIS IS COUNTRY MUSIC!!!!!!

When one looks at a photograph of Scotty McCreery, they see a fresh-faced high school boy, but when he opens his mouth to sing, he brings to mind a seasoned veteran, such as Alan Jackson, and his voice and confidence belie his age. His deep bass voice and warm demeanor could melt glaciers.

This CD is actually a 5-song EP of "The Best Of" from his American Idol performance (including his single, "I Love You This Big," plus an exclusive bonus track, "Aren't You Gonna Kiss Me." He croons on such classics as "The River" and puts in a little country rock in "Gone"; both of which are my favorite performances on the CD.

My only complaint: Too short. However, if you purchase this through Walmart, you will get it at a much cheaper price than you would elsewhere. And it's definitely worth every penny!

Highly recommended!
