We spend a third of our lives sleeping, After all, there has to be some part of our day when we stop talking and just listen.Dreams give us more than surrealistic landscapes and a cow or two descending from a cloud. They provide the knowledge and the tools we need to have happier, more fulfilling lives.Aside from Carl Jung, Betty Bethards couldn't find a dream master she felt comfortable with. But Jung hadn't supplied her with a glossary of dream symbols. So she channeled her own glossary, with the help of her guidance. That glossary became "The Dream Book: Symbols for Self Understanding" and today, it is the best selling book on dream analysis in existence.People will not go on a trip without it. And it has a permanent place on thousands of bedside tables throughout the world. In short, this is a very loved book. But more than that, it helps you keep to your life plan, showing you some of the choices you've made as being unwise and some as going in the right direction. Betty tells us all dreams are positive-so right away, you are ahead.

Book description

We spend a third of our lives sleeping, After all, there has to be some part of our day when we stop talking and just listen. Dreams give us more than surrealistic landscapes and a cow or two descending from a cloud. They provide the knowledge and the tools we need to have happier, more fulfilling lives. Aside from Carl Jung, Betty Bethards couldn't find a dream master she felt comfortable with.

But Jung hadn't supplied her with a glossary of dream symbols. So she channeled her own glossary, with the help of her guidance. That glossary became "The Dream Book: Symbols for Self Understanding" and today, it is the best selling book on dream analysis in existence. People will not go on a trip without it.

Customer Product Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5★ by 1reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great beginner book I was expecting a book that only had symbols to look up. But to my surprise, the first half of the book was very informative. She talks about chakras, meditation, and how to relate the symbols from your dreams to your life, as well as a lot of other interesting things. The last half of the book is the dream symbols in alphabetical order so they are easy to look up. This is my first dream book. I have some really weird off the wall dreams and wanted to get some meaning from them. I've only had the book for a day, so I haven't been able to actually use the symbols part of the book yet. But, being a beginner in chakras and meditation and now dreams, this book will be very helpful in putting everything into perspective. I feel it's well worth the money and I'm excited to start this new journey. 02/19/2013
