Definitely 5 stars!! The BEST from Journey for a long time! Much better than their prior release Revelation. Classic album. I can't decide right now which one is the best track, all songs are GREAT!... And may I add, the new singer is beyond awesome!! 05/20/2011
Great, Rocking Music Laying aside prejudices, this is a 'must buy' for old and new Journey peeps and Gleeks. I've been playing it from start to finish trying to find out which would be my favorite of all...BUT I do love them all, with their varying melodies, dark and edgy, but holding on to the message of love, hope, and peace, amazing riffs, drums, keyboards, AND soaring vocals. Awesome. I give it a 10 out of 10. 05/26/2011
Wow! This is the best Journey album ever. My favorate tracks are City of Hope, Tantra and To Whom It May Concern. 05/24/2011
Journey stakes out new artistic territory I knew this album was going to be a departure from their previous recent efforts. Ever since Perry had left the band, Journey was struggling to find a new "voice", instead trying to find a replacement for the legendary Perry. But with Arnel Pineda, they've got a bona fide new voice that can take the band beyond its tried and true formula of the past and into new artistic territory. After such a long history of success basically following the same musical formulas, I applaud the band for staking out new artistic territory. I also think that this is the rockin' album that Neal Schon has wanted to make with Journey for a long time. It's sonically rich with his playing, while Jonathan Cain's keyboards are more of a background embellishment on most songs. You have to listen to this album a few times to really appreciate it, since it's quite a departure from the usual Journey formula, but the rewards are rich and point to a promising artistic future for this long-lived classic rock institution. 05/28/2011
