About this item

After wading in a puddle of radioactive waste, these radical reptiles are transformed into New York City's greatest crime-fighting quartet. The "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Film Collection" includes "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret Of The Ooze", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles In Time", and "TMNT". "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie" is the live-action, feature film adaptation of the cult comic book and the popular animated television show. After prolonged exposure to radiation, four teenage turtles (Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo, and Donatello) have mutated into Ninjas and have begun living in the sewers of a large city. Under the guidance of Ninja master Splinter the Rat and television reporter April, the Turtles embark on a mission to run crime out of the city and battle the warlord Shredder. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret Of The Ooze": The evil Shredder believes he's found what gives the turtles their power and proceeds to create dangerous mutants. Armed with Professor Perry's anti-mutant antidote, it's up to the crime fighting turtles and a pizza delivery boy to conquer these mutants. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III": Everybody's favorite giant turtles travel through time and space to feudal Japan to rescue their plucky sidekick April when a golden sword accidentally causes her to switch places with a rebellious samurai. "TMNT": After the defeat of their old arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. Struggling to keep them together, their rat sensei, Splinter (Mako), becomes worried when strange things begin to brew in New York City. Tech-industrialist Maximillian J. Winters (Patrick Stewart) is raising up an army of ancient monsters, and only one super-ninja fighting team can stop them - Leonardo (James Arnold Taylor), Michelangelo (Mikey Kelley), Donatello (Mitchell Whitfield) and Raphael (Nolan North)! With the help of old allies April O'Neil (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Casey Jones (Chris Evans), the Turtles are in for the fight of their lives as they once again must face the mysterious Foot Clan, who have put their own ninja skills behind Winters' endeavors.

It is outdated for my 3yr old son. But when I was looking through movies and saw TMNT I knew that he would enjoy it. He stands in the living room trying to mock the turtles and ninja moves from the movies. It was a great deal for all four movies and is watched atleast once a week. Sometimes I go back and look at what was popular when I was younger and there is stuff still out there that my children enjoy without them ever hearing of them before.

I remember my little brother use to love watching TMNT over and over when we were kids. Now his kids love watching the T.V. Show. I bought TMNT Movie Collection for my nephews. It comes with the 3 original movies late 80's or early 90's. The forth one is aminated more current. I haven't seen the forth one yet. The kids love the whole movie collection.

  • In watching these with my son yes these are the older movies but probably the PG13 is due to the violence in some of the fighting scenes and some of the crimes that the bad guys commit? Just guessing.

  • All of these 4 films are rated PG. There are two possible reasons that they are rated PG-13 on this site. First is that there is talk of rerating the original 1990 TMNT due to violence and teen smoking. The second is that the new 2014 TMNT by Michael Bay will probably be PG-13. This is not the first time that this site has misrated films. It has happened several times before.
