good purchase works great, the air bubbles in the cover of course help it so it doesn't sink in the water, does help keep and maintain water heat - very very glad we made the choice to purchase this item for our pool 06/16/2010
Better than I thought it would be. I had never used a cover of this type before. It works better than anticipated at keeping the pool water warm over night and heating it during the day even though our pool gets limited sunshine. An added benefit seems to be chlorine retention. The pools chlorine usage has dropped to roughly half of what it was before keeping it covered most of the time. The only drawback is where to store the cover when it's not on the pool. We currently hang it over the garden swing canopy but I'm thinking of putting up a rope, like a clothesline in some nearby trees. Overall a good buy and will pay for itself in chlorine savings. 08/10/2010
good for the price A little larger than needed for my 15 foot round pool and don't really want to cut it so it tends to fold over in spots. It does seem to keep the pool warmer than without it- probably by 5-10 degrees. Got it for $31 with free ship to store. 09/08/2010
very helpful Prior to getting this the pool water only reached 62 on a hot day. With the cover and much cooler temperatures the pool is 72. Much more comfortable even for eager children! 08/06/2010
