Seventeen-year-old Ree Dolly (Jennifer Lawrence) sets out to track down her father, who put their house up for his bail bond and then disappeared. If she fails, Ree and her family will be turned out into the Ozark woods. Challenging her outlaw kin's code of silence and risking her life, Ree hacks through the lies, evasions and threats offered up by her relatives and begins to piece together the truth. Rated 3 out of 5 by 4wheeler Winter's Bone review I got it mainly because Jennifer Lawrence is in it. But it is very raw and filmed down in the Ozarks with local people being in the cast. There is no special effects but is a good movie. I am not saying it is for everyone and maybe not for all kids but it is a good movie. 01/25/2013
