Really great batteries. They are precharged and do not run down nearly as fast as conventional NiMH batteries. I have also tried other brands with good success. Just be sure to buy precharged batteries to get batteries which do not run down nearly as fast as others while not in use.

Bought these to replace the aweful batteries in our cordless phones. Work great, charge quickly & hold charge for a long time. Have used a name brand coppetopped battery & the Ray O vacs are far superior & cost less.

Charger says to charge anywhere from 10-13 hrs, should I do that or what?
by J0rdan5 10/20/2011
  • Yes, charge for 10 hours. I just plug it in at the end of the day and pop the batteries out the next morning. On caveat however. don't store batteries in your trouser pocket because the sweat and salt from your body will CORRODE the top of the battery, then it will be useless. Wrap the batteries in a small baggie.

  • Depends on the charger. If it says 10-13 hrs, then so mote it be! I personally have a 15 minutes speed charger, and it automatically shut itself off when done, and these batteries works fine with it. Just do what the charger says and you'll be fine! Good luck.

  • You should fully charge when you first them, and when your done with whatever your using them, then recharge again and it won't take so long to fully charge them again. Now if you drain them it will take longer to charge fully. You really don't have to fully recharge every time after every use, it takes awhile to drain them.
