took 4 hours to put together, had 3 screws/bolts break, very easily. the directions were not very specific, i read them before i sarted, i found a pole with an xtra hole and one missing a hole, not all the holes lined up well, it was a bit of a challenge, putting it together. but my 2 boys love it, its not that sturdy so im hopeing they get some time out of it. just wish that things were made better.
Rated 5 out of 5 by OzarkMomma This is a great swing set. I have three girls, and it is big enough for them all. However, it took awhile to put together. The instructions were clear, it's just time consuming. I love how every sharp edge is covered and all of the pipes have endpieces. Overall, it is a very well built set.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pearbear99 Can't keep the kids off this even in freezing cold
This was from my mother to her grandkids (2 & 4yrs) for Christmas, they LOVE it!! They've played on it every day that it hasn't been raining (even in freezing temps!). It wasn't too hard to put together by myself, but it went a lot faster once my husband got home to help! Definitely worth putting together in the rain the night before so they could play on it first thing. The whole thing feels very sturdy, even though our yard isn't very level, and the bolts all went in easily but stayed secure. The only frustrating part were the slide steps where the pliers couldn't hold the bolt in such a tiny space, we had to use needle nose pliers instead. Great value for a great set, we highly recommend it.

My 6 year old daughter loves her new swing set. The only issue is with assembly. It would have been SO MUCH easier if the parts had been labelled. Having said that, if you have some degree of mechanical ability, or have assembled other DIY projects, you can figure this out. The pictures on the instructions help a lot but labelled parts would have made it a snap. This took me about 6-7 hours (over 2 days) to put together, but I did it alone. It would be a lot easier (and faster) with 2 people so 1 person could hold parts together while the other screws together the nuts and bolts. My best advice is to use common sense, if 2 parts don't seem to fit, don't force it because many parts look similar but are not exactly the same; back off and look harder at the directions. Don't tighten parts tight until you finish a step as you may have to take them apart to redo if you do something wrong. Take your time and be patient, knowing it will take some time to get together and you will have a good result.
Rated 5 out of 5 by hbb828 GREAT SWING! FAIRLY EASY ASSEMBLY!!!
I previously read the other reviews before purchasing this product & almost decided not to. I am so very glad I did purchase it. It was fairly easy to assemble considering my husband & I were doing it byourslef for the first time. All the parts were there, the holes lined up perfectly, & the advice I will give is to make sure you use the right length screws for the right parts. The screws for the legs are just about a hair longer than the ones for the leg bars. We found that out the hard way. We did not use the bar thing because we put my daughters baby wing up & it fits perfectly also. AWESOME FIRST TIME SWING SET!!! My son is 2 & LOVES it. He is on it just about everyday!!
Rated 4 out of 5 by Torenthal This swingset is great, the only complaint I have is the bolts are really short. You have to really push the parts together in order to get certian bolts and screws to even touch let alone screw together. All the parts where there and the instructions were really easy to follow. I put this together by myself and it took about 4 hrs to build. I do recommend using a wrachet set and power drill for easy installation. My daughter loves it and it actually looks nice in the back yard.
Rated 1 out of 5 by LRitchie I purchased this item due to it's good reviews and price; however, after a month the bolts in the floor of the settee have fallen out, are loose throughout the whole set, they cannot be tightened, and the whole swing set has bent to the side. I will add that the heavest child who played on it was only about 75lbs. Also, this has not been used daily. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kristen1982 good swing at a decent price
I bought this swing for my son for Christmas. While it took my husband and father a few hours to put it together, they really didn't encounter any problems other than holes needed to be widened a little. The swing turned out exactly as pictured, and my 2 year old loves it. I would highly recommend this product to others.
Rated 1 out of 5 We bought this for our sons 2nd birthday and it turned out to be a Huge disappointment!!!! The directions were not very clear and the bolts were not long enough to go through the holes making it a big safety factor!! The quality was very cheap and flimsy! Just whole experience was horrible!! Definitely would not recommend this item!!!
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bohpa Nice swing set for the price.
The instructions were OK, but I do believe you need to be handy using basic tools. The only problems I encountered were with the center and corner fitting brackets. They are not marked. The center fitting does not have an angle to it as do the corner ones. So make sure you use the angled brackets for the corners and the other bracket for the center. Also there were six bolts for hanging the gliders that are too short. I had to make that extra trip to Lowes to get the correct ones.
Rated 5 out of 5 by exchfamily Easy to assemble...attention to detail required!
First, it's a great swingset! Really seems well-made and good quality materials, however, you HAVE TO READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST! The main reason for this is, the screws are VERY CLOSE in size, and if you use the wrong screw, you will not have the right screw when you need it. For example, when you are building the frame, you have to use the longer screws on the larger diameter tubes, so that when you are adding the "chin bars" you have the shorter screws to attach them to the frame. These screws are only 1/4" different in length and difficult to tell apart otherwise.
It was very easy to put the whole swingset together, and I (49 and female) built it with a 95 yr old man in only 5 hours, and that was with having to go back and take out the above-mentioned too-long screws! LOL It really was easy, and nothing is too heavy, so one person MIGHT be able to handle it.
Also, we recommend laying down a tarp or cardboard under your work area to catch loose items...i.e. nuts and bolts. LOL Takes too much time to search the grass to find them!
We haven't used the swingset yet, so I can't say how sturdy it is, but I hung from the main frame and I weigh about 185 and it held me fine. I wouldn't swing on the swings at my weight, but it should easily hold the rated 100lb kid no problem.
Altogether a good buy. I'll come back and rate it again after this summer of use.
Rated 3 out of 5 by SwingJoy Challenging to assemble
We purchased the swing set for grandchildren, whom we love very much. Assembling the set requires keeping the altruistic emotions foremost because ugly, hateful emotions will arise during assembly.
Assembling the swing set requires 3 adults: 2 to build and 1 marriage counselor. If one can gather a group of beer-drinking friends to help assemble the set, it might be worth considering. The set may not resemble the finished product in the photo, but the adults will have had more fun. And the marriage counselor not needed.
The swing set is attractive: a tasteful taupe, burgundy and cream combo. But the age range is realistically a lot lower than the 2 - 10 years old grading. I would estimate that 6 or 7 years old is the max age for the set because everything is scaled very small. Two 4 year-olds would have difficultly facing each other in the lawn glider and the slide is very definitely scaled for toddlers, or young children.
The problems are these: the screws are not long enough (have a few of your own on hand just in case you find this true as well); a few of the screws were missing; there are NO extra anything. Don't lose those washers; read twice the small, but emboldened "Note" under each step. A Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering though not necessary, would have been helpful. Although the gym is designed for up to 10 children, this too is exaggerated. By our estimate, the set can accommodate four children playing while the other 6 fight on the lawn awaiting their turn.
The good features: swing chains enclosed in vinyl tubing; exposed edges of chin bar and hanging links protected by plastic sleeves. And the tasteful color.
The Flexible Flyer is a good value for the raw materials. When considering whether to assemble another playground piece of equipment or not, I think I'll go have a root canal. But, then again, we love our grandchildren very much.
Rated 1 out of 5 by glitterybutterfly When we started putting the swingset together we noticed we didn't have all the parts. We had to call the company and they agreed to send us the bolts and parts that weren't included in the original box. We have had it completed for about a week and are already having trouble with it. The double seat swing broke off with our children on it. The seesaw doesn't seem like it's on there very well either. I think they have sent the wrong screws again but I'm unsure. I have been trying to contact the company for 2 days and haven't received a call back even though the machine says they will call back within 24 hours. I'm hoping to just return it and get my money back.
Rated 4 out of 5 by pafishrman good product
Easy to assemble.. The description says the components are USA but the bags say China ?? Good value for the money.. Great Grand-Daughter loves the slide !!!

Absolutely love this swing set. Would definitely recommend to anyone with children. They will enjoy hours of fun in the sun on this exceptional product.
Rated 2 out of 5 by MDMomandDad Not what expected
The swingset went together good in the beginning but as we moved towards putting together the slide we noticed that we were missing a pole then when we went to attach it to the swingset it's self we noticed that one of the holes on the pole that it was suppose to attach to had not been predrilled so he had to drill one. It has taken us longer than expected to put together. It seems sturdy but we will see!
Rated 5 out of 5 by savants08 What we wanted
We wanted the metal swing over the wooden because most wooden sets dry rot and look terrible in a year. To some it might not feel like a good quality but we know people who have owned their metal sets for over 10 years!! It only took my husband and I about 2 hours to build and it's very simple. It's tedious but simple. You basically just put together a part and bolt it over and over. I honestly could have put it together by myself. If you have zero experience in building things than I can see where you might struggle, but if you have a tiny bit of experience you will be fine! Do not over tighten the bolts!! I see where some are saying it's too hard to push the swings, chair swing, etc. Well, loosen your bolts a tiny bit till it swings good! Quality set, looks good, arrived undamaged, and my toddlers love it! Great buy!
Rated 2 out of 5 by J999A Just a "Fair" swingset.
When assembling, we found several nuts/bolts/connectors were ill-manufactured and even broken so they would fit together properly. Had to go to a 'big box' hardwear store to purchase other hardwear to custom fit the pieces properly.
Four passenger lawn swing is VERY small and close set. Seats are spaced very close together. My 7-year old granddaughter, who I bought this for, can not sit in it without her knees hitting the other seat. There is no way more than 2 little children can ride this at the same time.
Rated 1 out of 5 by KKrus WASTE OF MONEY
You get what you pay for. Though we thought we spent a fair amount. DO NOT purchase this set!!!!! It is junk, cheap and already falling apart. My 5 and 2 year old have been playing on it for little over a month. It was completely terrible to put together. Parts did not fit and had to be man handled together, specifically for the cheesy double seat swing thing. A very important end cap for that has now popped off in the grass somewhere that holds the seat up. It is also VERY short. So my daughter has trouble pumping herself because she has to tuck her legs and feet funny so they don't hit the ground. If we move the chain up anymore she won't swing anywhere, because she'll be like 3' from the top metal frame. Huge mistake to purchase this. Do yourself a favor, save up a bit more money and buy a nicer one. Oh and one more thing....The box didn't include all the right parts. We were missing one bar for that bench swing and had to call the company and wait over a week to get the right part in.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ronetta73 We got this for our grandkids. They love it, played on it all day. I have no complaints about the product its self. The way it got here was an adventure. When I ordered it, it said it would be here by Thursday the 9th to Friday the 10th and I was okay with that. It didn't arrive Thursday so I was looking for it Friday. We got a phone call from the shipper saying we need to set up a time for them to drop it off on "MONDAY". MONDAY DELIVERY WAS UNACCEPTABLE. My husband talked to them and some how arranged for it to be delivered Friday evening by 10pm. The shipper did get the swing set here by 10pm and if I knew her name I would thank her for my grandchildren.
Rated 4 out of 5 by princessfs Purchased this for a 2 and 3 year old. It is small and is great for them! perfect for the wee ones:)
Rated 4 out of 5 by wallyworldregular3663 They LOVE It!!
Once we got it together correctly the kids jumped on it, and now beg to go outside and play!! Worth every penny, and being on sale helped. I would recommend laying ALL the pieces before you BEGIN!! It would have saved us a great deal of time. Do it to make sure they are all there, you know top from bottom of the poles, which pole goes in which position, etc. It has been 3 months since we bought, and every day they can they are out there playing on it.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mari8247 Flexible Flyer Play Park Metal Swing Set
Read the reviews and was a little wary about buying this. Boy I am glad I did! The set had all the parts to it. The instructions were very easy to read. They even came with the exact measurements to the parts so you can't mess up and get the wrong part. I recommend a plastic see through bin to put all the parts in so you do not lose them. The parts are so small they are easy to lose. It took us exactly 6 hours to put it together because we took our time. There were some parts that took longer than others to put together and some of the holes were not punched all the way through, easily taken care of with a screwdriver to push the metal aside. Put the chin rail for the slide on last because you have to hook it up to the slide. The instructions don't say that, but we figured it out along the way. It takes two people with alot of patience to put this together. Once you get on the ball though, it's easy! I don't have anything holding it down and so far it's very sturdy. I highly recommend this swingset. It's beautiful and I got a lot of compliments on it. It's nice to have a swingset now in the back yard for hours of play!
Rated 5 out of 5 by foot74 My grandkids love it. NOT hard to put together!
I was expecting a chalenge in putting it together after reading some of the reviews but I was very happy with how easy the instructions were to follow and how fast it came together. I am 64 and it was the second swing set I have ever had to assemble I did one for my kids 30+ years ago and this one was better built. I worked on it about an hour and a half friday after work and then about another hour and a half on saturday morning. there were a couple of things that could have been better thought out and explained better in the instructions but overall I amd very happy to get a great set for such a low price. My grandkids will enjoy it for may years to come.
I also got the acchor set and it works very good. Easy to install and works good I gould not get the leg post to come up off the ground at all.
Rated 5 out of 5 by MissSweetie2U I purchased this swingset for my Autistic 4 yr old grandson and he enjoy's it very much. His favorite are the swings, although he likes it all. It took an adult and a teenager abt an hour an half to put it together. I was worried due to a few of the reviews but decided to purchase it anyway and I am very glad I did. If I ever need to purchase an additional swingset this will be my choice again. I reccomend this swingset to everyone!. ;)
Rated 5 out of 5 by jennllm Wonderful!
This swing set is a great bargain! This is very well made and not very difficult to put together. I would suggest more than one person in the assembly process. Make sure you set aside about 3 hours for assembly. I will also say that if there are any questions or any pieces that are not included the manufacturer of this product is wonderful! They are extremely helpful and respond to emails in a timely manner. I am so happy we chose this swing set and we couldn't be happier. This was a great investment. The kids love it and I know it will last many years.
Rated 1 out of 5 by kellykecskes This is junk ..missing bolts bent metal holes had paint in so couldnt get bolts in.. the big swing thing has metal bars that pop in place well they pop put with one child on it,..waste of money feel sorry for my child when she got this for xmas and it took us 4 days to get it up....if it was easy to take down bet ur rear end i would take it back.
Rated 5 out of 5 by blueiris63 Great Swing Set
We purchased this swing set to have at our home for our 6 granddaughters. My husband was able to put it together by himself fairly easy. It did take him some time though. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials. Our only problem was, it was missing the assembly for the trapeze. I sent an email Flexible Flyer customer service with a copy of our receipt attached and they sent us the parts in just a few days. Overall, I would recommend this swing set.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Rightonmcleod Not all the parts fit and it was difficult to put together...
Rated 4 out of 5 by baddream Just put this up 2 weeks ago for the grandkids. Took about 3 1/2 hours for 2 people. One person could probably do it, but 2 sets of hands make it easier to hold and align the different pieces while placing the bolts thru for the nuts. Not the greatest quality, but my objective was to get something that I hoped would last 4-5 years to entertain the kids and I believe it will do just that.
