Rated 5 out of 5 by Kimmi143 Great Quality Steam Mop
I tried a cheaper steam mop and returned it. This is the 2nd steam mop I've ever tried so I'm not a "steam mop connoisseur." Therefore, I did my research extensively. I chose the Haan because of the inventor. Ms. Haan is Korean and as you know, it is a daily chore to keep their floors sanitized and extremely clean. Although I don't share the same customs, we have the same motivation...clean, sanitized floors without the chemicals. I have 4 dogs and my biggest concern has always been the chemicals all over their paws and then they lick their paws. Now they're digesting those toxic chemicals. The Haan steam mop is great. It kills germs with steam not chemicals. It's beyond healthier than a regular mop in many ways. No chemicals, just water. Can't beat that! The quality of the mop and accessories are excellent! The pads are very thick and high quality. I have not used the attachments yet...this is a recent purchase. I have a 2-story house and full of marble. I love that I don't need to go back to the sink or a bucket to get more toxic chemicals! The water tank lasts awhile! The first time I used it, I felt like it wasn't doing much. But once it dries (which is quick) and you go back and look at your entire floor, it was clean..very clean...barefoot clean! It just takes getting use to if it's your first time from a conventional mop. Then there's always looking at the pad...that's proof positive that you just cleaned your floor! The mop head swivels...this was very important to me...it makes all the difference in the world...trust me! This was a purchase of NO REGRETS! Absolutely worth every penny!

For the price its works ok. ($49.99 inc s&h) I had a shark steam mop for a year and it was wonderful but it did wear out after a year. My house is 3000 sq ft and all hardwood so I guess I got my monies worth out of it. The Dirt Devil does not work as well as the Shark. I think I will be purchasing another Shark at $99.00.
Rated 4 out of 5 by DreamRealEstate Definitely Happy with my purchase!
Although this is my first steamer purchase I think this device is amazing. All those years of scrubbing, ugggh....I wish I had made the purchase sooner. It heats up almost immediately and with very little effort seems to remove almost everything off the tile floor. I do wish it had some kind of scrubby little brush that would work on grout but overall, I've made a wise purchase! Oh yeah the price was amazing, as I was considering one that was more than twice the price of the Dirt Devil at $43 something at Costco for the Shark. So, I'm glad I did a little more research and saved more than $50.

Rated 1 out of 5 by doop Don't waste your money
I bought this for light weight cleaning of bath and kitchen floors about once or twice a month for supplemental cleaning. I thought an occasional steam cleaning would be a good thing. It does get hot fairly quickly, but only the outer edges of the mop head clean the floor. The entire center of the mop remains clean and doesn't touch the floor at all. It feels flimsy as well, but since I wasn't using it for heavy cleaning it is ok...just sounds like it's going to tear apart.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Elephant75 This is a good little steam mop
The problem with this model is that if you have a lot of tile it takes a long time to get done. The mechanism is just like a regular clothes iron. It takes a lot of swipes if you live in AZ where the roads are mostly tar and oil. I ordered extra pads and thank goodness cause I go thru a lot on just the kitchen floor. Make sure you can watch the tv while doing it or be on the phone since it is not quick.
Rated 5 out of 5 by KCICC Great product for hard surface floors
I bought this for my ceramic tile kitchen and bath. It works quickly and most certainly cleans these surfaces better than anything else I've used
Rated 1 out of 5 by Pepin27 steam???
This steam mop just left water all over my floor, I could barely see any steam no matter how long it was on, I took it back right away and tried a couple other steam mops, needless to say I'm using a spin mop for now until I find one that will actually work like my old shark did.
Rated 4 out of 5 by grover77 Does the job
We bought this as a cheaper replacement to a Bissel steam mop that we dropped and broke. The Bissel does seem better, but is also twice as much money. This has a small tank, so if you plan on doing your whole house, you might be refilling it quite often. We only have a kitchen and the bathrooms with tile, so it works for us.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Momof1pluscat Can't really complain
Initially, I bought the Dirt Devil steam mop to freshen up carpets at rental property and to remove small stains. It does not remove stains in carpet. If you are purchasing it for this reason or for high-traffic areas in carpet, forget it. I used it on my car mats. It does not remove stains from car mats. To me, it leaves too much water on hardwoods. The good thing about the DD steam mop is that it does clean bathroom floors really well. After using it, all odors from my cat's litter box were gone. When I mop the traditional way with soap and water, I can still smell an odor. It does remove light stains such as hairball in carpets, if I notice it and clean it right away. I have had the H2O steam mop before so the DD is not quite as good as that one but for $44.00, I can't really complain as it does serve my purpose.
Rated 5 out of 5 by feistybrown I just love this steam mop. I like not having to put my hands in dirty water again and the floor is clean.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Go2tahoe I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. I haven't heard anything negative, so it must be working out well.
Rated 2 out of 5 by MsTrish55 Not as good
As I thought it would be and the reviews were. Left lots of streaks on my tile floors.
Rated 4 out of 5 by dirtmachine I have only used my machine two times so far but really like it. I got the one year warranty just in case, but I have no complaints.
Rated 4 out of 5 by cjehn Love it!
This Dirt Devil product is an inexpensive product that does a great job. It is awesone for tile floors and does a good job for quick cleaning of the carpet.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Angelrose16 I found the dirt devil steam mop to be a great product for the money.
Heats up really quick and does a great job. The floor doesn't get to wet and dries fast. I liked it so much I'm going to buy one for my son and his wife for Xmas. It's so easy to pop off the terry floor pad and throw it in the washer. So much cheaper than buying the throw away pads with other mops. The head of the mop folds upward so you can store it in a tight spot. The triangular head is great for cleaning in the corners. This mop is a must for any kitchen and bath.
Can't wait to try it on the carpet. I think it will work well on carpeting too.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovethoseroses Cleaning my floors is so much easier
This is a great powerful floor steamer. It's so much easier than the former mop and bucket of soapy water I used to do and it actually cleans better than the soap and mop! I love the triangular mop feature that goes underneath furniture, stoves, etc. It has removed paint and other hard to remove debris on the floor. I recommend you vacuum the floor first to remove the loose debris, but this powerful steam mop does the rest. The floor dries quickly and my floor has never looked cleaner. Fun to use and faster than the mop and bucket. I've only had the mop about a month, but so far this little mop is fantastic!
Rated 1 out of 5 by marukai The steam output is too much - leaves streaks. There is double work because in order to get rid of the streaks you have to wipe after you steam floor to get rid of excess moisture to prevent streaking.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just1Jewel This is what I posted on Facebook
Oh my Gosh! This may be my best purchase ever.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Kelbell01 Thought this would last more than 2 years
Purchased in 2010, not used every single week. Crapped out on me about 2 weeks ago. Not impressed. Heats up with absolutely NO steam. Won't purchase this brand again. Also, when you pull the mop back to you the pad lifts up, like the base needs to be heavier up front. I found this a bit irritating but still workable.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mellboss Great deal!
It arrived promptly and works like a pro. The only problem
I have which has nothing to do with it's performance is
one of the mop attachments is already worn. Not sure if it's the
most durable. But since they put two in there we are still
rolling. It cleaned so well and it's so easy to use my
8, 10, and 12 year old think it's fun to clean the floors. Amazing
I know right....it's worth every penny!
Rated 3 out of 5 by iluvyarn No infomercial magic here
I was so excited to get a steam mop! I wanted to work wonders like on the infomercials you see. Results: ummmm...the same as using a rag mop. Actually, my rag mop works BETTER (and it's much cheaper!). I normally boil water before hand and just use that. The steam mop takes FOREVER to use because you have to use REALLY slow movements to get stuff up. Sweeping is a MUST...naturally. If you get food stuck to the floor lots, then this product isn't for you. You'll have to scrape everything off first because the mop can't handle it. It mostly just cleans off the top light layer of dirt. No deep down cleaning in this product. If you have LOTS of floors to clean, then you may want to go with something else since it has a very small reservoir tank, and it will need to be filled every few minutes. On the plus side: It DOES get crayon off vinyl floors as well as a magic eraser. And it doesn't leave puddles, but it still takes about 10 minutes for the floor to dry completely. If you don't have a lot of messy people/pets living in your home, or you're OCD about cleaning, then this just might be for you! But unless you plan on mopping every couple of days, then I'd say go with something else.
Rated 1 out of 5 by thedroslady Not a very good steam mop
Had a Shark before it gave out after 4 years of hard work.Bought this mop and it has very weak steam power and does not do a good job of cleaning, and we will return it to walmart and exchange it for another Shark
Rated 5 out of 5 by thorin3 Does the job
I have only used it a few times but it does a really good job.
Rated 4 out of 5 by lovesrings I like it.
It runs out of water fast because the little tank is small but it does the job. I bought extra pads & I wash the dirty pad as soon as I have finish the floor. If you are looking for a simple steam cleaner this one is perfect. price is perfect also.
Rated 4 out of 5 by meek07 Great product for the money. I am very happy with my purchase. I owned a shark mop before and I will never go back.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mollie07 Best invention for cleaning ceramic floors.
Ordered this product on-line and was delivered in two days. This product saves time and energy (beats using a mop and pail any day). Gentle on the arthritis. Cleaned not only the ceramic tiles, but also the grout. Floors dried quickly too. The only drawback is the small water tank, but I do have a large area to cover. Washed the mopheads and they came out looking brand new. Very happy with this product and the ordering process.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Whiskey9er Does a great job, light to use, get extra pads you'll want them
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lillidog works great on tile floors, just does not dry as fast as i expected, and is too wet for the laminate flooring that i really bought the product to clean.
Rated 1 out of 5 by melmac84 fell apart
This mop fell apart the first time I used it. The handle was not sturdy. Don't know if I got a defective one or all are like this, but I'm taking it back and don't plan to try again.
