I have to first say, after reading these reviews, most people think they are getting a top of the line tent. It is far from that. It is a cheap priced tent and is just that! I have better tents for backpacking and kayaking, but for roominess with my dogs, this tent is perfect for the price! For those of you that complain about the poles, they ARE cheap fiberglass, but don't be an idiot setting it up! I have used mine about 7 times now and got my moneys worth. It has been thru 20degree nights, 95degree days, downpour rain for 24 hrs straight and it is still in good condition, without broken poles, because I take care of it and not a first time once a year camper! Be nice with it and it will keep you bug-free and dry for years to come! At the price, you can't beat it... just don't expect a Marmot quality tent! I will be using this tent again this weekend.

This tent is well worth the money! I had a lot of choices when I went to buy camping eqipment, and I knew I needed a tent large enough for my family to be comfortable in, but not one that would take all day to set up. This tent fit all my needs and wants. We had two queen size airbeds in it and plenty of room for our gear and even our dog! It was up and ready in less than 20 minutes. It is very versatile, with a removable rain/wind guard roof and mesh upper half. The stakes that come with it are smaller than regular stakes, but worked just fine for us. It was a chilly night at Lake Oconee (50ish), the last time we camped, but it was nice inside the tent. I also liked the very sturdy 'tub' floor design. It came up about 3 or 4 inches around the sides as well. The ground was damp, but the floor stayed nice and dry. It was also very easy to take down and repack. My husband is the tallest in our family of four, being 6'2" and he all had plenty of room to stand in the tent to change clothes. I do not have any complaints about this tent at all and I am looking forward to years of fun camping with it!

    • A. It has a mesh upper half. No zippered windows.

    • A. The OT 10X13 has only one zip window in the door. It has no see um mesh netting on three sides. The only way to "open" these windows is to go outside the tent and pull back the rainfly. A real drawback if you want to see what is outside when the rainfly is closed.

    • A. Not really, the only window it has, that is easy to reach, is the One on the door. The rest of the tent is mesh screen, except for around the lower half. The rain cover that you put on it is pretty much most of the tent. If you want to get some air, other than the door window, you have to go outside the tent and on the rain cover on either side it has zippers. all great unless you have the windows open and it is raining,, you would have to go out in the weather to open or close the sides of the tent..there is no opening on the back side of the tent, no windows or access.. I am taking it back!!

    • A. the top part of tent is mesh, and the rainfly lays overtop, it has 2 zippers on side, and door, so it will ventilate very well, however it also gets cooler inside as temps drop.

    • A. Yes and no. Does not have windows that can be zipped up. The rainfly covers the tent which is almost all mesh and open except for about the bottom 2.5 feet.

    • A. Sort of, when you set the tent up almost the entire top and sides are windows..I mean they're just the screened in kind. There are no zipper windows however that you can open and close....thats when you could use the rain fly if you needed your privacy.

    • A. The OT 10X13, like most tents, can be free standing. If there is wind, the tent will "walk" away or blow away. Use heavy objects inside the tent (cooler, packs or suitcases) in the corners to keep the tent in place.

    • A. Yes it does, and if you don't put it on, your tent is completely see-through -- as in, no privacy at all. Be aware that the tent windows do not zip or unzip at all. It's like a screen tent before you put the rainfly on. The only way to open the "windows" is to go outside and unzip the rainfly. I didn't like that feature, so I returned this tent.

    • A. The OT 10X13 does have a rainfly. The drawback to the rainfly is that it it clings tightly to the sides of the tent and only opens from the outside of the tent. If you bed down on a clear night with the rain fly open and it rains, you must go outside to zip up the rainfly.

    • A. Yes Rain Fly included. The description on the storage bag is the one in the item description EXCEPT they left out Rainfly! OK then the bag also says, Tub Floor with welded seams and rain fly with taped seams keep you dry. Rain Fly zips open for excellent ventilation. I got this tent 04/10/10 for use on a camp out the weekend of 4/24 so I havent put it up yet but looks to me like it will be ok for 4 people two queen beds (air mattresses). I have the Ozark Trail 9 X 8 Dome tent says for 4 sleeps two without a lot of extra room you could get three people in there but two twin mattresses fit well.
