Can't Get Enough of Charlaine Harris After watching the first season of True Blood on HBO, I was hooked. I found that the show was based on a series of books - "The Sooke Stackhouse Collection" by Charlaine Harris. About a month ago, I checked out the first book from the library and couldn't put it down. I then ordered the entire set online. I'm now on book # 8 in the series and it just keeps getting better. It's mystery, thriller, and romance all rolled into one! If you've read the Twilight series, these are far better! Everyone I've talked to whose read the two sets agrees. I also agree that the books are way better than the TV series. 05/13/2010

Wanting more Although I am a big Sookie fan and couldn't wait for this book to come out, I was a little disappointed. By the time I was on the last 2 chapters, I felt like I had just started reading it. The story draged on and and never really picked up untill it was almost over. I really hope the next one returns to the Sookie and Eric I love. 05/28/2010
Worst of the series! This book was just plain and ordinary. If you skip it, you won't miss much at all! Sookie babysits, works, reads, worries...worries...worries...has a 3 page fight scene at the end and its over! Eric explains further subdivisions of the vampire territories (BORING and Irrelevant). Maybe Ms Harris is under pressure to release at least 1 book every year and just ran out of ideas because Dead and Gone was so good and then this follows it. You expect an awesome book because Dead and Gone leaves you wanting to know more about Bill & Eric, but NOPE,....NADA! 06/22/2010
