But when an unknown assailant makes an attempt on the detective's life, the case takes on greater urgency. "Cat Among The Pigeons": At the Meadowbank School, Miss Bulstrode (Harriet Walter) counts girls from England's finest families among her young charges. And she treats them all as equals - even the royalty, like Princess Shaista of Ramat, a political refugee under constant threat from revolutionaries in her country. Yet, to the headmistress's friend Hercule Poirot (David Suchet), the school seems a world in microcosm, full of "hopes, dreams, fears, and secrets." The famous detective delves into those secrets after a vicious murder shocks the students and staff. As the attacks escalate, he aims to find the perpetrator before more students leave and threaten the school?s survival.
