Jesse's new CD, THE RUMBA FOUNDATION, continues Jesse Cook's journey across time, space and sound. In the 1800s sailors traveled to Spain carrying a hot new rhythm from Cuba: Rumba. Gypsies took this infectious dance rhythm and created their own hybrid: "Rumba Flamenco." 150 years later, Jesse makes it a round trip by bringing Rumba Flamenco back to its roots, but modernized in what might be his strongest work yet.

A few better than rest.... I bought this album after hearing one of the songs being played on my local jazz station. Bogota by Bus is almost the only good song and Bombay Diner was a runner up. 06/07/2010
Favorites are Bombay Diner, Bogota by Bus and Rain Day; but I enjoy all of the music here! If you are a fan of Jesse Cook, I think you will enjoy this album... He truly is an amazing and extremely talented guitarist....I have just recently become a huge fan, and telling everyone I know to listen to his stuff! 02/03/2012
