Rated 5 out of 5★ by Kila23 Daughters of the Moon is a refreshing view into the lives of four VERY different teenage girls. Now, the only thing these girls have known is that they are different from normal kids. Vanessa is popular, well-liked, has a crush on a cute guy and is noticed by him, and has an amazing best friend who she knows she can count on - the bad news, she can turn invisible, and she has trouble controlling it when she gets nervous.Enter Catty, Vanessa's best friend who has the power to time travel at least 24 hours back, any further and they get stuck. Catty is a normal teen girl, ditches school, causes trouble, likes to party, and is technically Vanessa's rule-breaking BFF.Serena, new to the town and different from the other kids because she likes to read tarot cards. and she's very good at it. She has the power to read minds, freaky right? Not to her. In fact, in can be useful at times. Especially when it comes to find those who want to hurt her and the others.Jimena is fresh out of her gang on El Nueve, ninth street. She likes to jack cars and does community service at a Children's hospital. She's been able to stay out of trouble ever since she discovered her true destiny. Jimena has the power to see the future. She sees both good and bad things, but the problem? She's never been able to stop a premonition from coming true. These four seemingly normal girls all share the same burden. They are the Daughters of the Moon and the only people who can stop an evil called the Atrox from completely taking over the world. They will face many difficulties along the way, meeting friends, enemies, and find love even in the darkest of situations, and in the least likely people.Daughters of the Moon starts slow, but the action will quickly pick up and you will not want to put this books down. 09/12/2011
