Hello. You are certainly able to blow these 12" Clear Balloons up on your own. They are not helium required.

these balloons holds very little air and pops about 10 minutes ltr.....really save your money a waste.....a bargain but really a waste.

Am I able to blow up the balloons myself or do I NEED to use helius?

These brown balloons were exactly what I needed  to go along with the yellow.ones in our girl scout brownies troop hall of fame. The girls insisted in brown balloons we needed  only  9 inch ones.   When filled with helium, they actually shined. Psrfect

I was sketchy about giving this review because I wasnt sure what to really say about balloons except these were the exact color I was looking for and the quantity/price ratio was unbeatable. Then I thought to myself for a moment and duh!!!! So every year on my sons birthday I put small cars inside  of balloons... block off the kitchen and fill the floor.... mind you there are so many I cheat by filling them with the compressor versus using my lung power.... lol!!! Anyway those of you whom have had the pleasure of using a compressor know that even with an adjustable air chuck the pressure coming out is outstanding. Long story short they have successfully passed our little field test.... After the stretching and pulling to get the cars inside and the pressure from the compressor theyre still holding up..... So in a nutshell fantastic balloons!!!

Even after all that....

Bought these for our 5 year old during quarantine because he kept mentioning balloons. He has drawn on them, we have played games with them, he has named a few, blown them up inside other objects, such as a rolled up exercise mat, to make them a different shape (which who knew that would work but kids are creative), he has put things inside them, etc. Balloons have been an unexpected addition to his otherwise humdrum days stuck at home. Yay for that!

Yay Balloons!

Balloons werent as light in color as I would have liked, but it served my purpose. A few popped as they were being blown up, and a few more popped before the event,  but thats why I planned on having extra. The price was excellent for what I needed.

Good monetary value

there were a few with holes, there for not 5 stars, but they were cheap and did the job!

Filled up with helium around 9am, by 4pm they were already floating down and following the rest of the sadder balloons

Sad balloons

These don't like anything like the photo and are not even remotely brown - more like an army green/gray color. Quality is fine, but color is not as advertised.

All the balloons seemed melted together and when we pulled them apart they would either tear or there was a weak spot that made the balloon pop when inflated. We were able to use one balloon out of the entire package.

Horrible quality

At least half of the balloons in the bag I received had small holes in them. My husband and I blew up the balloons and 20 minutes later half of them had deflated.
