The Beatles Stereo Box Set (17 Disc Box Set) (Remaster) 4.8 5 24 31
Great Music from the Best Rock Band in History I was extremely pleased with the newly remastered boxed set of Beatles albums. The music sounds better than ever and I've been listening to Beatles music since I was a kid. The quality of the music is outstanding and there is a noticeable difference between the new remastered CDs compared to the older versions. Definitely a must for Beatles fans. Word of advice---I probably wouldn't invest in the new versions if you are just going to listen to the music on a cheap music box or from a cheap CD player in your automobile. You really need a decent stereo system to notice the difference in quality. Otherwise, just stick with the older versions. The boxed set comes with an extra DVD that has video clips of the band. I haven't had time to view it yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing it. I've heard it's got some great stuff on it. I'll also mention that Wal-Mart had the best price I could find on the internet as I was shopping for this product. The only problem is that it keeps running out of stock everywhere, including Wal-Mart because it's sold greater than expected I guess. 10/26/2009
Great Music All In One Being a big Beatles fan, this product was right up my alley. I have recently lost all of my Beatles music and needed desperately to replenish it. This was a great deal which included the best selection of their albums they put out. Each album had a booklet that went with the album. Two of them included the lyrics to the music. Then, there was a documentary DVD that showed some footage that I have not seen before. It was fantastic! Also, the music was 'remastered' for better sound quality. I truly enjoyed how the music now sounded. There were some songs that my husband did not enjoy as much remastered, but I did. My husband is an even bigger Beatles fan than myself. So, take these comments for what they are worth to you. I highly recommend this set to anyone who is a big Beatles fan. MY TIP: I like to keep my sets in really good shape. I recommend taking each CD out of the cardboard case it came in and putting all the CD's and the DVD in a portable case that is soft inside so that not to scratch the CD's as they are being taken out time and time again. This way the whole set of album covers and booklets remain in great shape, as long as it is properly stored. If you decide to purchase it, I know you will enjoy it. 01/25/2010

I got on-line and tried walmart OH MY GOD YES they have it for 180.00 for on-line purchase only but I ordered it on the 10th of nov and I recieved it fed ex on nov 12th. I payed 180.00 dollars plus 10 dollars shipping and 11 dollars tax awesome deal and Ill be jamming with The Beatles all weekend. Walmart out beat all the stores and E-Bay for this Beatles box set. The Stereo set is better then the Mono set. If you have a good surround sound stereo system (5.1-7.1) or a good stereo box then you'll enjoy listening to The Beatles stereo box set through all your speakers. I have a 5.1 surround sound and all five of my speakers was rocking vocals and instruments and you can hear clapping. Stereo is the way to go so go pop a top and enjoy The Beatles stereo box set remastered. Thanks Wal-mart 11/13/2009
Great Package for Beatle Fans I chose the Stereo boxset for several reasons. 1) Everywhere I looked it was cheaper than the Mono box 2) The mono boxset left out some of the later albums, while the stereo box included all of them. 3) Many people say the Mono boxset sounds better, and while it is true that more effort was put into mono mixes than stereo mixes, the fact it's better is an opinion. I prefer stereo sound over mono, I think mono just sounds all jumbled together. I'm not saying the mono is bad, some of the mixes are pretty good in mono for example: Paperback Writer, but at the end of the day, I still prefer stereo. I know there isn't a mono version of abbey road, but say there was, Come Together would not be the same. The bass panning adds alot to the song.Okay, so I'm pretty new to the Beatles, and prior to this I only had one CD, the Album titled 1. I loved it so much I had to get more, so I decided to go all out and buy this package. I was introduced to them through the Rockband game by the way. The CD booklets were very interesting to read, although I must admit whoever wrote them got lazy and by the time you get to "Let it Be" there was not much information for it, whereas the booklet for "please please me" was very informative and lengthy, but lengthy in a good way. I've listened to every song atleast 2 times, they are all wonderful. There is a total of 226 songs. Enough music to last you 10.3 hours. If your not a big Beatle fan, just purchase your favorite albums, but if your a big fan, this is worth it. 02/26/2010
