Great way to share God's word for this generation My husband found this for our son at a large bookstore chain. Initially, I was skeptical because our son is only 2 years old but my husband was so excited about it that I searched the Internet and Walmart had this for a great deal. I ordered it online and had it shipped to the store, the process was really quick and easy. That night my husband and son snuggled on the couch and read it. I was amazed, my son was completely captivated by the pictures and the story. After they had finished reading the story of David and Goliath my son ran into the kitchen and told me all about the story and was so animated about. For a child who is almost 3 to be able to tell me what he had learned in such detail was very impressive. Our 6 year old daughter even loves to hear the stories and look at the pictures! We bought several of these to use in our Junior Church for children to follow along during the lesson. It really makes the Biblle stories come alive for them. They understand that it is a visual aid used along side the Bible to help them understand the Word of God more clearly. They really look forward to lesson time. 04/04/2012
My friend has always been interested in comic books and graphic novels, and he recently expressed an interest in becoming more familiar with the Bible. I was delighted to find a gift for him that combined the two interests. He is fascinated with the stories and the illustrations make it packed with action. I look forward to borrowing it when he's finished. We are adults, so I think this would be good for young adults and up, but the reader's parent or guardian should make that decision. 02/28/2012
