I ordered this because it was so inexpensive, but it exceeded my expectations! Very true to size, but has "give" for breasts to grow before a feeding without compromising support. The flap is easy to use and seems very sturdy and will last a long time. Not the sexiest bra out there with lots of coverage, 4 hooks in the back and extra wide straps, but all these things make it probably the most comfortable bra I have EVER worn! I would recommend this for pregnancy as well (I gave mine a "Trial run" in the last few weeks to see how comfortable it is) Doesn't hide outline of nursing pads very well though, so I suggest looser fitting fabrics or layers if that bothers you. For me a regular baggy t-shirt works just fine, especially if I'm just around the house. I wish I had this when breastfeeding our first child!

I got two of these and wore them the entire time I nursed my son, about 10 months, and there is even enough life left in them that I am keeping them for next time. They were sooo comfortable, the large shoulder straps were awesome and really helped me adjust to my new chest size. I got a few Motherhood bras as gifts and ended up returning them since they were horribly uncomfortable in comparison. Compared to the price of bras in maternity stores, they are an awesome deal!

I was so happy to find this nursing bra. I had purchased this bra several years ago when I had my first baby and was needing to purchase another one for my second baby. I am large breasted (44 DD) and I have always worn underwire bras for extra support. This is a great bra which provides great support and comfort without the complications of plugged milk ducts that can arise from underwire bras. Excellent value and quality. Glad that Walmart still sells this style and brand.

I was initially searching for a nursing bra that wasn't going to brake the bank, but was comfortable. After tons of research, I stumbled upon this gem, searching Walmart as a last resort. What a bargain! And after reading a ton of the reviews decided to order 2. So glad I did! The bras are comfortable (fabric is soft) and true to size (but as one customer stated, with room to grow without compression). As a larger breasted woman, I would never imagine wearing a bra without the support of an underwire, but purchased anyway since I've heard underwires are not the best for breast feeding. Upon receiving I immediately tried it on, hoping there was still going to be the support I need without the underwire. To my satisfaction, there is plenty of support. I would not hesitate to recommend these bras to anyone. I wish my regular bras were just as comfortable. The only thing I can not attest to is the overall quality once it been washed over and over. But, seriously at $10 a pop, there is absolutely no complaints!!

I am normally a 36DD, but am starting my 8th month and am sure I will get bigger when my milk comes in. Can anyone recommend a size, since the cup size only goes to DD? Should I go with a 38DD??
    by Nen1070 12/1/2010

    • A. Lactation consultants recommend going up in the band size and cup size from what you wear during your final months of pregnancy. For example if you're wearing a 36DD, you'd want to find a 38DDD. I actually did get a DDD in this bra, but if there's none listed, perhaps they're out of stock. Perhaps try a different color?

    • A. The lactation consultant at the hospital said to either purchase nursing bras in the last two weeks of your due date, or to wait until after your milk supply has come in... I'd go the week before your due date to a store that can size you for a bra (Motherhood Maternity, JC Pennys, etc.)

    • A. I would suggest trying this bra in white, as they go up to DDD in that color. I prefer the heather myself, but will probably have to settle for white because the heather in DD doesn't have much room to grow. You may want to go a band size up anyway because the band seems to run a bit small. I am a 40DD, and the band is very tight on me.

    • A. This bra is true to size. However, the rule of thumb is if you go up a band size - go down a cup size. So you could try a 36C and have a similar fit to the 34D.

    • A. You will want to order a size larger. When your milk comes in, your size will grow. Usually one cup size larger will do it. I went one size larger in the band so that it would be more comfortable to sleep in too. If you want to do that, order a 36D, if you just want to have the extra room in the cup, but not the band, order a 34DD.
