Had an older model by the same company - like the way they have changed the loaf to look like those you buy instead of standing up. Hope this one lasts as long as the last - at least 10 years.

This is a great breadmaker. The loaf comes out lengthwise instead of vertical like most breadmakers. The little window was a nice touch so you can watch it knead the dough. The only downside is it is bigger than I expected, so it takes up a lot of counter space.

This product worked exactly as stated. With very easy to follow recipes. The non-stick surface of the pan made the clean up very easy. The only setback was I had to learn which crust setting worked best for me. The first loaf was alittle too crispy. But it was the setting I selected. After lowering the setting, it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this brand and item to everyone.

I purchased this machine to replace a Sunbeam machine that suffered sudden death. I researched machines for reliabilty and ease of use. I think I have a winner. Right out of the box it was easy to use and the large pan and double kneaders are great features. The Rye bread and the egg bread recipes I used were from the enclosed recipes. They need tweaking for size and taste. But, my kids were satisfied with the breads which is what counts most.

I have had a West Bend bread maker for 10 years (same one!) and I ordered this one for my daughter. She is thrilled. It is easy to use, the loaves rise evenly and bake beautifully. Recommend this product 100 percent.

Previously I was using a Breadman that did a fine job but I didn't like the shape of the loaf and the fact there was only one mixing paddle. This Westbend has a more traditional shaped loaf pan and has two dough mixing paddles. It keeps pan scraping during kneading to the initial stage only. Much quicker and easier to mix. I use it for gluten free bread making and it does a wonderful job with Pamela's bread mix set for a 2 lb. loaf, medium crust setting, basic - 1 machine setting.

Performs well, a little hard to understand the directions on setting the proper bread program. The bread pan is very hard to remove from the machine and should be improved, especially for older folks like me. Overall performance good.

I previously owned another West Bend bread machine, which I wore out. So I had to buy a new machine. I really like this machine and plan on using it a lot!!!
The only problem with the bread maker is that the pan is a little hard to get in and out, other than that I love this bread machine!!!

I have never had a bread machine before. I put in my ingredients before we left for church this morning and when we returned home, we came back to fresh baked bread. It was simple to use and clean my 5 yr old can do it. It is a little bulky for my taste but if it continues to do its job great, then I think I can handle it.

This bread machine has already proven its value in my life. Every recipe has come out spot-on without doing anything extra; much more than expected. I have tried basic white bread, french, whole wheat & challah. People are now asking me for bread!

I love being able to make a real looking loaf of bread and knowing what is in it! The ability to make several different size loaves with this one machine is just fantastic. I prefer it for the larger loaves rather than the smaller sizes. It is a great product!

I have had bread machines before and found them disappointing. I reviewed this machine on line and decided to give a bread machine one more try. I have not had one loaf turn out badly. It is very easy to use and the directions easy to follow. I really like the fact that I could order on line and have it shipped to my local Walmart. I highly recomment this bread machine to anyone thinking of buying one. Be sure and try Irish Soda Bread.

I love it. I made my first loaf the day I got it. It did not turn out the way I thought, but I believe that I had old flour, and did not sift before adding to bread maker. I look forward to saving a lot of money on store bought bread.

First 2.5 lb loaf came out wonderfully. Second, 1lb not so much, it was hard and uneven. There is a little bit of confusion on what type of flour or sweetener can be used. Overall, I like the product and smell of fresh bread is awesome.

I was surprised to discover this model had almost all of the same features as the much higher priced models even though they were not all listed. The paddles are low profile and do not leave huge holes in the loaf like my old bread machine did. It is also much nicer having a normal rectangular shaped loaf instead of a cylinder. The "sandwich" bread setting is awesome, creating a dense grained (no large holes making it hard to spread mayo) loaf that was easy to slice thinly. I have recommended this machine to all my friends. Definitely worth the money.

Great product at a good price. Works very well. Having a few more recipes in the instruction manual would be nice but you can find alot out on the internet. I did alot of comparison shopping before selecting this model and it has not let me down.
