Action packed, Historicaly correct, eye-openner! This movie is so accurate to the real battle at Gettysburg. Showing both North and South without favoring either one. You'll learn about the Generals and who they were as men and soldiers. Highly recommend this to anyone, especially Civil War followers. 03/22/2011
Long, but worth it! This movie is a long one (4 hours and 14 minutes) but after watching it, I was glad I did. The acting was realistic and actually caused me to better understand the reasoning and determination for both sides to continue to fight. 03/20/2010
Gettysburg I loved this movie. Not only was it written well but it had some historical value. The movie brought out the strategies and problems from both sides. I watched this movie twice in two days just to take it all in. I plan to watch it a few more times. 01/12/2011
