Reverent Treatment of a Difficult Subject This is Pastor Chan's second book following his first entitled "Crazy Love". I highly recommend them both. Chan's greatest strength is his constant use of his own failures as examples of what not to do. I also find that he fearlessly asks the questions that so many of us who have been raised in the church are too afraid to ask. I didn't know what to expect from this book. So many books about the Holy Spirit espouse one doctrinal extreme or the other. This book does not. It is a fair handed treatment of this difficult subject. Chan manages to avoid the controversy while filling the pages with meaningful truths about the Holy Spirit. Perhaps most encouraging and convicting are the vignette biographies that are inserted periodically in the text - beautiful, amazing stories of lives completely surrendered to the Holy Spirit. I'll be reading this one again. 09/16/2009
May the SPIRIT work thru you!! We as CHRISTians today, know JESUS and the FATHER well BUT we seem to have a difficult time when it comes to what do we do with the HOLY SPIRIT. Francis digs in to this subject with scripture referances and shows us how powerful the SPIRIT really is IF we allow HIM to be active in our lives. It is a great read for an individual OR a group discussion. 02/08/2012
